Guest guest
Ok to hell w/my endo. Im not even gonna mess with the every other week 200mg shots. I'm going straight to the 1x/100mg shots and will just tell him when I test in 2 monthts that after 6 weeks didnt like swings and went to 1x week. That way at least he will know how to evaluate the test results. Or more likely how I can explain to him. Anyways a question.... Since I took a 200mg shot last Wednesday. When should I start the 100mg shots. Im thinking of starting on Thanksgiving Day - which would be Day 8 and then every Thursday after. Any thoughts? > > > > > > Here's my issue.. roller coaster ride assumes there is a peak. ive > > > only had the trough. Guest guest
Give it to that point if only to see how you feel after 1 week. If you're following the same pattern I was, you should be in the mid-to- high end range of T level by Thanksgiving and can better judge your next course of action. Guest guest
That will work don't worry about going to high doing this and you should be good by the next shot you can feel a little low by then but it will level off. Guest guest
Ok Day 4 (yesterday) after taking first 200mg Test Cyp injection was my best day for mood, but amazingly libido is low as it gets. Makes sense that erectile function would be worse after coming off ANdro (andro tends to drive up DHT). So I guess erectile function and libido will take time to come around ...maybe a few months. Today is Day 5 and seems like Im slipping a little. Interesting to see how I feel the next 2 days and then Thursday Im gonna do 100mg shot again. Hope im on the right path. Im sick of waiting as life goes by.... > > > > > > > > Here's my issue.. roller coaster ride assumes there is a peak. > ive > > > > only had the trough. Guest guest
Your on the right track and yes libido will come back fast as long as your E2 is not to high or low. Guest guest
Chris- Hang in there. Believe it or not, how you react to a certain dose after a week is worth its weight in gold as far as information to you and your Dr. Some guys react great to 200mg T, others don't.The feeling of tiredness could also be due to T converting to Estradiol. Generally, all this'll wash out of your system in a couple of days anyway. That's the problem with trying to figure out things like symptoms through postings. We're assuming that everything is related to low T levels, and not adrenal fatique, or thyroid, any of that. The next thing is to get blood tests. That'll give you a number to go with the feelings. I've done pretty good on 80mg/week, although I've been shortening the number of days lately. I have -not- changed the dose itself (up or down), I've found that doesn't seem to work near as well. Personally, I value the feeling of energy and well-being over libido. The increase is energy to me was both vague and well defined at the same time. And I'm not sure I could pin down when I noticed it exactly. It was more subtle than I thought. When I'd walk across a room and I'd see a piece of paper or something on the floor, -before- TRT, I would stop, groan a bit inwardly and slowly reach down to pick it up - or look at it, say to hell with it and just leave it there. -After- TRT, I would just swoop down with one hand and scoop it up, all without breaking stride. When I'm walking through a shopping mall, I guess my pace now tends to be a bit brisk. If someone is walking with me, they'll say " why the hell are you walking so fast? " and I'll say I didn't realise I was.I can't leap over tall buildings in a single bound with TRT, but I might consider scaling it one brick at a time. Not that I'd probably actually do it, but then again I wouldn't instantly dismiss it out of hand. I'd give it more thought than I would before TRT; the mind seems to accept the possibilities more, of things in general. Just my take on the " energy " thing. Sexual function is at the bottom end of my priority list. I just want to feel good again and have a little energy to do normal things. I can have sex still...really don't have a libido, but I still have a 50% erection and can reach an orgasm, so I should count my blessings. I used to have great sex and solid erections...and I do miss that, but most of all I miss my sense of well being and being a guy in a good mood. If I have to make a trade off...I would make the same choice as you....energy/mood. God Bless, Chris
