Guest guest
Good Morning Dave, My free T levels are about the same as yours and my doc cut me back to 100mg per week, I was at 120mgs. This was last month then I was checked, So to help bring down the T levels I go two longer each week. Not sure why you're filling tired, Wait for Phil and the gang To chime and see if your E2 may be creating you some issues. Guest guest
It has been my experience, and lab test confirm, that when we change one hormone or neurotransmitter, it affects all others in our body to some degree. Our minds has a balance it attempts to maintain. The most serious side affects of taking T, is it's ultimate affect on estrogen, estradial. So I feel certain in saying with T levels in your high range, your body may be converting the extra T, you put in to E. I take one third tablet of arimidex every other day to keep my E at thirty or below. I use night time erections, as a determinor of how much arimidex to take. regards david Re: New Numbers > Good Morning Dave, > My free T levels are about the same as yours and my doc cut me back to > 100mg > per week, I was at 120mgs. Guest guest
Hi it would help if you told us the ranges and units also how long after you did your shot did you do this blood work. It's best to do blood work on the day of your shot but first do the blood test. This test looks like you did it 3 or 4 days after your shot. I don't know why Dr.'s that don't know what to do about low T and dosing don't just tell you they don't know. Your Dr. does not know you don't go from weekly shots to every 2 weeks. You going to crash if you havent all ready. I have not see levels this high on 100mgs of testosterone done every week. The first thing my Dr. would do if a test came back high like this is to redo the test labs mess up all the time. If you read the AACE Guildlines it states on page 11 to do shots every 7 to 10 days. Also you need your Estradiol tested if high you will feel bad. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf Show this to your Dr. if he still keeps you on shots every 2 weeks find a new one. <willie6532@...> wrote: Guys, So I finally moved to Austin, Texas, and found my urologist. He took my levels which were: Total T 1340 Free T 49.6 Bio T 884 So my question is, Why is my Free T so high, I understand the Total T but my Free T is very high. I have been taking 100mg IM once a week. My doctor switched me from once a week to twice a week and then he will recheck my levels. I have been feeling really tired, low sex drive, poor erections and my head feels drowsy all the time. I feel like I could sleep most of the day. I have already had my MRI and it was okay. So what do you think guys? -Dave Co-Moderator " Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. Guest guest
Guys, The test was done approx 3 days after my shot. I understand that my T would be high but dont understand why my Free T is so high. I am still trying to understand Low T. The doctor told me to switch to every 3 days and to see if my effects go away. He wants to keep me from going up and then crash. He then stated that if it continues to flucuate than he wants me to follow up with an endocrinologist. In 2 months when I see him again. I will ask him to check my Estradoil and see where it falls. -Dave > >> > >> Guys, > >> > >> So I finally moved to Austin, Texas, and found my urologist.
