Hi Roy the arimidex is a bit of money but you will be getting 30 pills that will

last your over 4 months all you need is to take a .25 mg. or 1/4 of a one mg.

pill 2 x's a week to start. So you can have your Dr. right the script for 10

pills to see how it works. Or get some Indolplex/DIM this is OTC the best price

Take the zinc everyday and the Indolplex/DIM start with one tablet at dinner

I still don't feel anything, even morning wood. Since I have been taking

shots every week though I am getting a large dick in the mornings which

is something I haven't had for over 3 yrs. More like a large (willow) pole

Phil, Ha! Been on T shots now for about 15 yrs. so I can't find my nuts,

but I don't need them at 82 anyway as long as I can have (some) sex,

and feel better and not so tired. I did notice that my Extradiol has come

down from 59 last reading which I think the every week shots is helping out.

Hey Roy - if your Total T was 942 on the day of your shot, you may be

overloading. This would mean your Total T spiked to somewhere around 2000+. You

might want to consider dropping your value to ~ 1/2 which would help your E2

possibly without taking any additional meds. If you decide to go the arimidex

route (which is what I did) be careful, it is very powerful. I took 0.25 mg

every 7 days and my E2 bottomed out. I am currently trying 0.25 mg every 14

days. 0.25 mg is 1/4th of a pill.

Hi Dan this would be a good idea if his Free T was high also but it is not so

lowing his dose will lower his Free T more and could make him crash. He was

doing shots over a 2 or 4 week time and just started on shots every week. So it

can be to soon to tell but getting his E2 down will make his Free T go up higher

and if this happens then it would be a better way to tell if he needs to low the

dose.

No Jack never was Anti Indolplex/DIM what happen to me was I can't take more

then one tablet of Indolplex/DIM it makes me sick so having my T levels higher I

needed to take something stronger so my Dr. added Arimidex little did we know

that doing both don't mix well. The Arimidex blocks my E2 but the Indloplex/DIM

for some reason with it gave me a bad reaction and I broke out in a bad rash

every night after taking the Indolplex/DIM. So stopping the Indolplex/DIM the

rash is gone.

Cortisol Results 7.2 Range 4.48 - 22.7 before 10am

Range 1.7 - 14.1 after 5pm

T-4/ Thyroxine Result 5.9 Range 4.5 - 12.0

PSA Result 0.4 Range <=4.0

TSH Result 2.79 Range 0.49 - 4.67

ACTH Plasma Result 18 Range 10 - 60

Estradiol Result 43 Range <77

FSH Result < 0.37L Range 1 - 8

LH, Serum Result 1.54L Range 2 - 12

Prolactin, Serum Result 9.08 Range 1.81 - 18.77

I need a little help on these test as I don't know what some of them are for.

I know that the Estradiol is still higher than he wanted and said that if I

wanted to try Armiidex then we would go that route for 30 days and see

what happens. I didn't know that it was so expensive though and the VA

won't pay for it I am told. All they will pay for is the testosterone shots and

that was all the treatment that I was getting up to this point after 2 1/2 yrs.

I still don't feel anything, even morning wood. Since I have been taking

shots every week though I am getting a large dick in the mornings which

is something I haven't had for over 3 yrs. More like a large (willow) pole

Phil, Ha! Been on T shots now for about 15 yrs. so I can't find my nuts,

but I don't need them at 82 anyway as long as I can have (some) sex,

and feel better and not so tired. I did notice that my Extradiol has come

down from 59 last reading which I think the every week shots is helping out.

Hi Phil,

Notice I did not have any trouble convincing the Dr. to put me on Arimidex

although he said he had not personally used it, we will try it for 30 days

and see. Also he did say that my testosteron at 942 was just about

where we want it. Also he said that if the Arimidex brings down the E

then my shots may have to be reduced. He mentioned the upper 1/3

level just like you said. I sure thank you guys for clueing me on on

some of this, thanks to Dan and Jack for your comments too I didn't

know why you got off the Indoplex/DIM Phil. I see it much cheaper and

I guess you can buy it without a prescription can't you? I paid

$117.58 for 1MG pills for 15 of them, even though my insurance did

pay for $30.00 of it. Was glad to get that little discount. Does this

always come in 1MG pill?. Sure is hard to cut it in to 4 pieces for

.25mg but I did it. Am I doing it ok Phil? Thanks for all the help.

You did say take .25mg twice a week, that means 3 then 4 days

apart, right?

x's a week. I use a pill cutter they sell them at the durg store. Then I use a

knife to do the rest of the cutting. Keep me posted on how your doing taking

this any change let me know. You levels are not as bad as mine were I was up

in the 90's. Getting your E2 down will bring up your Total and Free T it did

for me so your Dr. is reading the stuff you gave him and more.

Phil I have a cutter alreay and have already taken one pill will do the next

one in three days. Yes I also printed several of your letters and he even

glanced over them and said, I think this guy has pretty good a advise, I

would follow what he says for the time being. I also printed up much of

what you have sent me and he said I want it all if I can have it. He said

I don't get to research much so it will help me.

That won't cost so much if I only have to take 1/2 pill every week.

Do you have to have a script for the Indoples/DIM? These pills

are 1mg, is that what you get?

Yes arimidex comes in one mg pills. No you don't need a script for

I still don't feel anything, even morning wood. Since I have been taking

Phil, Ha! Been on T shots now for about 15 yrs. so I can't find my nuts,

but I don't need them at 82 anyway as long as I can have (some) sex,

and feel better and not so tired. I did notice that my Extradiol has come

down from 59 last reading which I think the every week shots is helping out.

mgs. every 72 hr. as per my Dr. because my wife feels this makes me bigger and

harder. So even taking cialis when my Estradiol goes to low it will not get up

and the wood stops.

I know that the Estradiol is still higher than he wanted and said that if I

wanted to try Armiidex then we would go that route for 30 days and see

what happens. I didn't know that it was so expensive though and the VA

won't pay for it I am told. All they will pay for is the testosterone shots and

that was all the treatment that I was getting up to this point after 2 1/2 yrs.

Roy I feel you should try the arimidex first. When I first found out about my

high E2 I tried a lot of meds and supplements. None worked so I talked my Dr.

into giving me Arimidex first 4 weeks we did .5 mgs. every other day and then

did a test nothing came down so we upped it to .5mgs. everyday and in less then

3 weeks I started feeling better my ED got 80% better and with some hand work a

lot of hand work I had my first orgasm in over 8 yrs. Then after being on this

for 4 weeks my E2 came down from the 90's to 24. And I was able to have sex

with out pumping or taking a pill and reach an orgasm. But as time went on my

E2 went down to low and I lost my sex life again. We did not know this until my

next blood test in 4 more weeks so I was to low we cut the dose and in 4 weeks

my test showed still to low doing .5mgs 2 days a week. So we stopped the

Arimidex for 6 weeks it took this long for my E2 to come back up it was in the

40's when went back on the Arimidex only this time

we did .25 mgs 2 days a week. I could tell I was going to low my wood stopped

and my libiod died. So we ended up doing .25mgs every 5 days still yet I would

have to stop because I would feel I was going to low. Now at the time I was on

10 grams of Testim a gel and my levels of T were only 600 my labs range is 262

to 1593. So I switched to Indolplex/DIM doing one tablet and in a week I felt

like I was to low. So I cut the tablet in half after being off it for 2 weeks.

I did good on 1/2 a tablet and at times 1/4 of a tablet but bear in mind my T

levels were at 600. Today my T levels are 900 higher and I feel much better yet

my E2 went up with it. And doing one tablet of Indolplex/DIM was not getting my

E2 down.

So my Dr. told me to add Arimidex this worked but I kept breaking out in a

rash on my legs and between my toes. So we stopped the Indolplex/DIM and now I

just do Arimidex .5 mgs. on the day of my shot I do my shot every 3 days.

Phil I will do as you said. Since in take shot of T weekly I will try the

Arimidex

3 days apart to start with to see how the test come out in three weeks as he

prescribed. Then I will see him in one month. As you have stated before each

of us are different so we have to see what works for each of us. From your

experience it sounds like I am getting close. I have even noticed that I am

larger in the mornings after going from T every two weeks to once a week and

if I can get the Estriadiol down maybe something will start to happen, I sure

hope so. I can't imagine having sex without the pump though, that is almost

too much to ask. Will let you know how I progress, thanks again for all your

information and experience, you just have to experiment until you find the

right balance. Sounds like the Indoplex/DIM was making your Estradiol go

to high right? That was the reason you switched over to Arimidex? My total

Testosterone is now at 942 range 240-950 so I am at nearly the top end.

Doctor said it was about where we want it so he ok'ed the Arimidex to get

the Estraidol down to normal. Am I doing things right now you think?

I am guessing from what you said it will take a few weeks for something

to happen, right? I don't want to over due lowering the Estraidol to fast as

you did.

Hi Roy I had to stop the Indolplex/DIM because I can't take more then one tablet

of Indolplex/DIM it makes me feel sick. So we added Arimidex and found out you

can take them both together. So I droped the Indolplex/DIM. You will be able

to tell if your E2 is coming down I thing you will get some morning wood your

all ready hanging lower this is a good sine. If you start to get some morning

wood I don't feel you will need to pump. And to help ask your Dr. for Cialis do

20 mgs. every 72 hrs if you can afford this.

apart, right?

Take the zinc everyday and the Indolplex/DIM start with one tablet at dinner

time. If you use the Arimidex .25 mgs. 2 x's a week or the Indolplex/DIM as your

Estradiol comes down you should start to get morning wood shounds like your

almost there now. This means your Estradiol has come down so keep taking what

your useing and if the wood stops it means your Estradiol went to low so stop

until the wood comes back then go back on it but cut the dose. I take Cialis 20

mgs. every 72 hr. as per my Dr. because my wife feels this makes me bigger and

harder. So even taking cialis when my Estradiol goes to low it will not get up

and the wood stops.

I need a little help on these test as I don't know what some of them are for.

I know that the Estradiol is still higher than he wanted and said that if I

wanted to try Armiidex then we would go that route for 30 days and see

what happens. I didn't know that it was so expensive though and the VA

won't pay for it I am told. All they will pay for is the testosterone shots and

that was all the treatment that I was getting up to this point after 2 1/2 yrs.

I still don't feel anything, even morning wood. Since I have been taking

shots every week though I am getting a large dick in the mornings which

is something I haven't had for over 3 yrs. More like a large (willow) pole

Phil, Ha! Been on T shots now for about 15 yrs. so I can't find my nuts,

but I don't need them at 82 anyway as long as I can have (some) sex,

and feel better and not so tired. I did notice that my Extradiol has come

down from 59 last reading which I think the every week shots is helping out.
