Guest guest
Lowering E2 too much is supposed throw thyroid function out, however I am not sure in which direction. If low E2 was to result in an overt or a subclinical hypothyroid state then a low body temperature could be expected. In the past I have had typical body temperatures on arimidex of 95 degrees, whereas off treatment my typical temperature is 98.6 degrees. So I have wondered about this situation myself. > I have been taking my Temp. 3 to 4 times a day and found that when my > E2 is low my Temp is low. Guest guest
If for some resion you don't get some wood do a test again when you have been off it for 4 weeks. I remember the first time I went low and was low for over 4 weeks it took me a good 4 weeks for my E2 to come back up. Guest guest
Hi Chris PMFJI The main " thermostat " for body temperature is the Hypothalamus which sends hormones to the Pituitary. Anything that affects these hormones will affect body temperature. Guest guest
Phil I suspect since I am (old as dirt) that it will take awhile for it to come back up again, so I wasn't worried about it yet. I had thought to take another test in about 4 weeks too. Have noticed it is a fat little fellow these mornings and longer than usual but no wood. By the way when do you take your test, just before your shot or in the middle between shots? I have read something on both theories. As I remember you take yours the day of your shot but get the test first. You do know that is the first wood that I have had in YEARS? I imagine my E2 has been high for many years now but no side affects except a little stomach fat which is gone now. Guest guest
It can take some time to come back I just checked my tests back 3 yrs. and it took me 6 weeks I came back up to 24 and wood was raging. I have found that the longer your low the longer it takes to come back. I just read from one of the guys that I talk to he ended up in the ER last night he is not on TRT and his E2 was not all that bad but his total E's were high he took Arimidex and he crashed bad all they told him at the ER was he had a bad panic attack I feel his body went into shock. So for everyone out there on Arimidex it is nothing to play with this Arimidex. Like I said some would be better off doing Indolplex/DIM this brand is in tablet form and can be cut in half or smaller I did dam good on this doing one half a tablet a day. If you guys try this only take one tablet a day and work from there. http://www.ritecare.com/prodsheets/PHY-15336.html Also take some TMG with it to help wash out the E's from your liver. http://www.myvitanet.com/tmgtr75120ca.html NOTE: Never taking anything to lower Estradiol with out a test first. Guest guest
How well I know how potent that Arimidex is, I was not on .25mg per week before I really came down on E2. I sure will space it wide apart when I do go on it again. That poor guy probably didn't know what hit him. I know now that I shouldn't have taken .25mg per week as I did. I still believe when you are older the more the body is sensitive to things like these. I am so glad I didn't take the prescribed amount the doctor told me to take, which was 1/2 pill every day for 30 days!! Wow I would have been in the grave by now!!!~!..... Phil you didn't say when you took your test. Didn't you say you took your test just before you took your shot? Seems this would be a good time but others disagree. Guest guest
Well I am still at it taking my temp. I have stopped doing Arimidex now for two times now. My temp yesterday never went up over 97 yet this morning my fist try was 96.4 same as the other mornings but on my second temp it was 98.4 this is after not doing any Arimidex at all I take a .5 mgs. pill every 3 days it has been 7 days now and my temp is coming up. Still can't say if this is my Adrenals doing this or my E2 coming up. So I found this link at the Stop The Thy. Madness site in this link is a chart that you can plot your temp's day by day. A good read. http://www.drrind.com/tempgraph.asp#directions > > I have been taking my Temp. 3 to 4 times a day and found that when my > E2 is low my Temp is low.
