so I would guestimate.

With a 1288 you want about a 40% reduction - so I'd look at reducing

by almost half. E2 should come down with the lower T considerably.

But I'd consider a one time 1/2 tablet of arimidex to lower E2 in the

short term.

so. I guess I will find out as time goes on. i figure after 2 weeks of zero

TRT my levels are probably back to low 300s or so. i can still get

erections..though they are weak. its funny..other than slightly sensitive

nipples i had zero side effects of excess E2..other than weak libido/erections

and bloatedness. i had those prior to TRT though.

In women half life of E2 is in minutes:

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve & db=PubMed & list_uids=9\

473164 & dopt=Abstract

They gave a patch to post menopausal women and then measured E2

dissipation:

" Thirteen hours after transdermal E2 placement, steady state levels

had been reached, with a mean E2 of 112 +/- 6 pg/ml. The mean

half-life of E2 after removal of transdermal E2 was 161 min (range

107-221 min). "

SO yes it should come down on its own. Assuming male chemistry is

remotely similar.

60mg/wk...and find out after 4 weeks how its doing. if its not enough i will

have at least narrowed it down between 60 and 100mg/wk. seeing i was close to

1300 only 2 days before my injection means i should be close to doubling that

amount for my peak which puts me really really high. ref range max is only 847,

It may also be you need a slightly longer interval. If you're not

metabolizing the whole shot in a week you may be building an

accumulation of T in the muscle. i.e lets say you have 10 residual at

the end of a week. SO you get a 100 mg shot. SO you've got a load of

110 Mg. Now at the end of the week you have 10 of that so you have 111

mg. , and so on it may slowly climb.

But I';d do smaller dosages before I thought ABOUT LENGTHNEING THE

TIME PERIOD.

Phil,

> Even if your to High stopping our droping a dose fast will put your

body in stress trying to make up for the loss. The stress of doing

this can cause your lab in your body to go nuts and put other things

out of range thyroid for one.

Do you have any more information on this connection between thyroid

and fluctuating T levels? I've probably been hypogonadic my whole

life, and I've suddenly cranked my T levels up to 800 via TRT. I

think it may be messing with my thryoid or adrenals, because I have

been having fatigue in the morning and low libido for the past few

weeks, even though my E2 is good (around 25). I'm considering

(slowly) lowering my T dose down from 100 mg per week to maybe 80 to

see if I feel better with a T level of around 600.

Damn this stuff is frustrating.

Thanks,

Eugene

Phil,

Yes, my T and E2 levels have been all over the place since I started

TRT. Reasons: trying 2 different topicals, then switching to a little

topical plus injections, then a weekly injection, then 2 injections

per week, and also issues with using the correct amount of Arimidex to

control E2, and I added in HCG. Things are settling down now, but I

think I will be lowering my T cyp. a little because my total T is a

bit high. What a mess! So, I'm not surprised if this is messing with

other parts of my endocrine system.

Thanks for the link.

I don't have a current Free T level. I'll be getting that in about 2

weeks.

> You know I have read many of the them studys on this and never kept

them but if you have a bad Thyroid and low T a lot of times if you

treat the thyroid first the T levels can come back up. If you change

your E2 Estradiol levels or up your T levels to high this can mess

with your thyroid and cortisol levels.
