Guest guest
You doing everything right so the only thing I can think of is did you shoot the T cold I would take it out and let it get warm before shooting. Phil zorroceasar <zorroceasar@...> wrote: Hi I just want to make sure about injecting myself. The doctor gave me shot every month 250mg/ml. I told him highs and lows of this long periods of shots and I want to inject myself more frequent. Now over here we only get Sustanon 250. 250mg per 1 ml. So we get this 1 ml in a small all glass container. you have to break the glass neck. Now I have a problem I only want to inject 100mg per week and keep the rest for later use. If I suck up everthing into my syringe, use what I want can I keep it in the refrigerator.I have done this but after a day or 2 the injection site hurts like hell in my thigh. I am sure I am doing the shot right.I read a lot about where and how so .....is it normal to hurt like that. Like a 10 cm area around the site. This happens after a day or 2. Tender on the hump and skin gets red as well. I use new needles and is super cautious on getting infection. I know oil based will be hard to absorb but is it normal all the pain. --------------------------------- Sponsored Link Mortgage rates near 39yr lows. $510,000 Mortgage for $1,698/mo - Calculate new house payment
Guest guest
Hi there No - something is wrong. However, we have discussed injections and using ampoules in the past. It is not safe to divide Sustanon in this way as you cannot really consider it sterile in the way you suggest. I am not sure with sustanon if just by injecting a smaller quality that you will have half of the full sustanon mix as it contains a mix of esters and these may well dissolve in the base in different ratios. However, the main thing which has been discussed in depth here before is sterile solutions for injecting and you cannot merely leave in a fridge in this way and hope ot is safe and sterile once the vial has been opened.A syringe and needle are not airtight and so not sterile after that initial use. Now I am not sure by this: > Now I have a problem I only want to inject 100mg per week > and keep the rest for later use. > If I suck up everthing into my syringe, use what I want can I keep it > in the refrigerator.I have done this but after a day or 2 the > injection site hurts like hell in my thigh. When the injection site is sore and hurts is this with the first injection of that stored in the fridge? Guest guest
First, take a warm shower, then sit down on a chair and stretch the skin where the needle will go in to. Then insure that the beviled cut of the needle tip is facing away from you, and grab a nice hunk of flesh in the middle outside of either thigh and stick it in about 3/4 of an inch. Then very slowly push the plunger in while at the same time pulling the needle out so that all the fluid is in you while the needle in now in about 1/2 inch. This prevents injecting into the same exact spot, which is the source of a lot of the pain. With practice, this is really quite pain free, and with no pain afterward. Guest guest
Chris.. I use a 25G needle.. its a little smaller and takes a bit longer. But dont have any pain at all.. Just remember to relax your glute.. , ( rear end).. Needle breaks off afterwards, and I dont have any soreness or pain at all.. Maybe you should try that . Guest guest
Chris- If the nurse used a 1.5 inch needle to inject in the thigh, thats plenty long enough to get into the muscle. 23G is about right for that length. (I think a 20G is getting close to what they use for donating blood; 18G, I think.). You could even use a thinner 25G (I've done it) although it takes more pressure on the plunger to inject the oil. Actually, a 1 inch needle (some folks here use even shorter) is usually recommended for the thighs, with the 1.5 inch needle preferred for the glutes (rear- end.) Just remember, try to relax the muscle you're trying to inject into (I know, easier said than done; it gets easier with time) and take your time injecting. Injecting too fast will give you a charley- horse. And try not to wiggle the needle around. Guest guest
Even the 23 g needle will cause you pain try and get a 25g x 1 " lg. Like I said I use a 27g 1ml x 1/2 " lg. needle the T comes out of the vile very slow I did a shot this morning and timed it took about 90 sec. to get out .25 ml of 200mgs/ml of Depo T = 50 mgs. I do the shot just off the top of my thigh and bury the needle. Being that the needle is so small the T also comes out slow and this is good. You had to big a shot for your thigh 200mgs is a lot of liquid if she use the office T to do your shot. Did she take the T out of your vile then this would not be the case. Get the book by Dr. Shippen called " The Testosterone Syndrome " it is a little dated in his book he at the time was down on shots because they were to big and drove up Estradiol " E2 " now today he does his own shots ever 3 days doing .18mls in each leg for a total that day of .36mls = 72 mgs subQ he feels doing the shots subQ helps to put the T into the blood slower and by doing this he is keeping his Estradiol down. This is how I got my Dr. to let me do my shots every 3 days but he would not let me do them subQ. I have been doing this for some time now Dr. sees Dr. Shippen and they are working on new and better ways for TRT do to come out next yr. Dr. now lets his men do shots every 3 days with a small needle. In my state you don't need a script to get needles all I do is take the T vile with me to show them I am in need of them. Guest guest
Hey - first thing you have to answer is how much fat tissue you have. If you are over weight, you need to go deep. If you are somewhat lean in the area you are injecting, you can get by with a shorter/smaller needle. I use a 25 g 5/8th needle. I have found that while relatively painless in the thigh, there is zero pain in the butt. I use to only inject in the right cheek (right handed) but have recently been able to shoot the left if I have a mirror. Guest guest
The guy I was posting to kept his T in the refrigerator because the kind of T he has comes in a glass amp. So he took what was left over and filled needles he had pain after a shot. I was telling him it could be that he did not let the needle warm up before giving him self a shot. Your vile is not a problem and you don't need to warm it up first.
