Look at the label again.

At the top left of the label, it says " NDC ... " . Underneath that it

says " 10ml Sterile Multiple Dose Vial "

10ml of 200mg/ml provides 25 doses of 80mgs/dose. Each dose is 0.4ml.

That assumes you'll be able to bet all the drug out of the vial. You

probably will have alot of trouble getting the last few drops out of it.

The vial contains 10cc or 10ml. You will need to to inject .4ml to get

80mg of test cyp.

Bill 200mg/ml to do a shot of 80mgs. you fill the needle to .40 mls. This would

be 25 shots.

Hey Bill - the vial is a 10 ml vial. At 200 mg/ml or cc, then 80 mg will be 0.4

cc or ml. You will withdraw ~ 0.5 cc each time so it should be good for 18-20

weeks.

If his dose is 80mg (.4cc) why are you telling him to draw out about .5cc?

off subject ,but my drug store says they cant buy Asecol generic( Novo5 ASA

)so i have to buy more expensive name brand. I take a lot of this for Colitis.

Very expensive I was buying generic in Canada but now i am in part D medire drug

program so that helps but it aggravates me that my co pay is higher on a name

brand. I knew there is a genericand copays are less on Generics. I told the

pharmacist so and he said NOT available in USA. Seems not right to me. My test

Cypt med is covered

I am using a BIG 3 ML capacity syringe with a 21 gage 1 inch needle.

The needle size is fine .NO problem. I have a box of 100 syringes. When used

up seems i need a smaller size syringe

The syringe is marked of in MLS- 1/2, 1, 1 & 1/2, 2 and so on up to 3

so the 1/2 ML mark would be 100 MGS . The T Cypt strength is 200 MG per mL

there are markers in between so each marker would be 20 ML. so i am filling

to 4th marking. the 5th marking is marked on syringe as 1/2 ML

4 marks times 20 is 80 and the next one is the half ML mark which i figure

would be a 100 mg dose. Correct? I am to take 80

It would be easier for me to se on a smaller capacity syringe. I got a good

deal on these on intenet and need to use up. Any suggetions re replacing syringe

size?

What I meant to say was inject 0.4 cc but you will withdraw ~ 0.5 cc total so

the number of withdrawls from the vial will be ~ 20. Sorry for the confusion.

Phil,

When this box is gone i need to get a smaller syringe . A one Ml syringe

sounds better .The 3 ML is overkill considering i take well under one ML of

fliid- just under the half ML mark actually

Are you getting 1 ML syringes from a drug store with Dr script or some good

deal on the internet?

The longer needle is ok for me because it is going in the soft part of my

BUTT. Taking only 80 MG a one ML syringe is certainly large enough for me.
