Guest guest
Deano, Not to scare you but Deano, the heart thing? It really needs to be treated. Please back off on the T some and get that level down. I didn't see your ECG and no, I am not a cardiologist. I'm the one people call when they develop chest pain...a long time Paramedic. You may not need a blood thinner just yet but, you sure should be taking an adult asa a day. Best follow the Doc's advise on this one until the problem has been resolved. Afib's are well sustained....for a while! Lots of folks walking around with the same thing treated and not treated. The Doc's panic is because right now, you at risk for throwing small clots, worsening rhythms, weaking your heart and vlave damage. It is likely you will continue to need something to keep your heart beating more effectively from now on and yes, too much T ethanate for a long period of time may cuase your type of problem. It might not be the cause either......67% of the population over the age of 65 already have at least periods of Afib. It is common to see an elevated CO2 level..that should fall in line when you get your heart beck on track. Straighten out the T level and hopefully the heart will follow. Good Luck and good health. Guest guest
Hi Deano when was your blood work taken if you did the shot and in 3 days did the blood work your tests will be high. It's best to do blood work the day of your next shot but do the blood work first. Testosterone is good for the heart I don't feel this is the problem. Men do get thick blood on TRT and giving blood helps this. Are you sure about your Pulse rate 400 to 500 or do you mean 40 to 50 bpm. Deano <DHerbert53@...> wrote: Hey Guys, I've been taking Test. The Dr. freaked out, did an echocardiogram which confirmed Atrial Fibrillation (which means that an external stimulus is confusing the electrical pulses of the heart and the valves don't know when to open and shut) and wants me on Coumadin and other stuff...not sure what to do about that. I have no symptoms. Anyone else have a similar experience? Thanks, Deano in Cincinnati Dherbert53@... Co-Moderator " Don't believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. I'm beginning to wonder if there's a batch of mislabeled T out there. (Made in CHina ;-> )?

I have no symptoms. Weird question: Are you taking glucosamine and chondritin for joints? Someone told me just this week, that they had fibrillation and someone told them to stop taking glucosamine and it went away. Research is showing it increases blood pressure and has other coronary effects. I stopped it after noting my BP climbed 15 to 20 points after I started it, and it has fallen again. Guest guest
Well, actually, Vickie et. al, I do some wrestling but that's another story. :-) The only meds I have taken before now are T. and Fosamax...nothing else. Now, I'm to be on Lovenax (clot buster) by injection for three days and Coumadin for three weeks or so. I think the Cardiologist is thinking Cardioversion after that (electrical " rebooting " of the heart, if necessary. My heart rate averages 70-80 waking...guess I was unclear in my previous post; it was my T levels that are normally 400-500. The plan is to take the two clot busting meds, lay off the T for a week (and coffee and alcohol) and cut the dose after that, and go back on an aspirin a day after that...then have the T. rechecked. My endo is a great guy but not the " detective " that my previous doctor in New York was, so this list is a big help to me. Hey, I appreciate all of the input and concern, I have been in very good shape until now and it is disconcerting to suddenly have this problem. Thanks, Deano in Cincy > > > > >Hey Guys, > > > > > >I've been taking Test. Guest guest
Hi, There is a good possibility the two are not related. A good cardiologist will unravel the mystery. There is so little known about the effects of elevated T, there may not be anything in the book on this. My endocrinologist mentioned treating some health conditions with significant doses of T. I do not have any idea what the conditions might be. ernestnolan > > Hey Guys, > > I've been taking Test.
