HCG usually only has a refrigerated shelf life after it has been

reconstituted of 30 days I have only found Preganol that is good for 60 days

after that point it should be thrown out and not used.

Novarel:

AFTER RECONSTITUTION WITH BACTERIOSTATIC WATER FOR INJECTION PRESERVED WITH

BENZYL ALCOHOL 0.9%, REFRIGERATE THE PRODUCT AT 2° - 8° C (36° - 46° F) AND

USE WITHIN 30 DAYS.

Pregnyl:

*IMPORTANT: USE COMPLETELY AFTER RECONSTITUTION. RECONSTITUTED SOLUTION IS

STABLE FOR 60 DAYS WHEN REFRIGERATED.*

Jim,

A vial of HCG will NOT last 20 weeks even if refrigerated. It usually

is only viable in the refig. for 30 days. To check it's potency get a

pergancy test and squirt about 1cc on it and it should come up positive

if it's viable. If it's negative the vial is NO good.

Depending on who you talk to the shelf life once mixed is only one or two

months.

I inject HCG using Dr. Crisler's guidelines. Based on the amount of

HCG in the vial (10,000 units) and the amount of injection (250 units)

a vial should last 20 weeks. Even at $60 a vial, that's still nearly

five months. How can it be costing you guys $30 a month? Or am I doing

something screwy?

Jim don't you read the inserts that comes with your meds. It states in them how

long it will last after you mix it. Not all brands are the same.

Its not depending on who you talk to so much as it is depending on what brsnd

you use. Novarel says right on the package to discard after 30 days. Generic

brand by APP says discard after 60 days.

I've seen Phil say he can tell if a bottle is old and gradually increases the

dose as a bottle ages from 30 to 60 days. Personally I don't notice anyvsuch

potency changes.

That's interesting waybto test it.

The group-think on this topic a few years ago was that it was that sterile water

solution going badvthat made you need to dispose of the stuff, not the

degradation ofbyhe actual hormones.

Yes Dave your right some of us can get a feeling of well being from are shot of

HCG. I don't use the APP brand that lasts 60 days. I use Novarel it's only

good for 30 days after 3 weeks I don't get the feeling of well being so I

through it out and start a new one every 3 weeks.

Novarel only is good for 30 days after it's mixed, and some guys have

reported a drop-off in effectiveness in less than that. And make

sure you keep it refrigerated.
