Guest guest
Some time after I was started on Androgel, I was able to get a Doctor to prescribe and import Andractim Gel. This more commonly known as Androstanalone and is very similar to DHT. DHT often gets an unwarranted bad rap from many doctors. It did not make me go bald, and it did not push up my PSA scores. If you do some research you will find that in more BPH cases than what you might think of the actual culprit is too much estrogen. The prostate does not like a lot of estrogen, and through out my course of being on T, i have had mine irritated and the Androstanalone helped a great deal. Think about this for a minute-many men with BPH are older(lower T due to natural age decline in production of T), overwieght (increased aromatization in the adipose tissues) and all ready balding. In germany Andractim type preparations are used to treat these kinds of BPH. The moral of the story is that if your doctor does not do an indepth hormone level test for E and T, the common BPH meds may do absoulutly nothing but cost you alot of money. As for being on Andractim-if i could get it consistently, i would use this blended with about a 50/50 level of androgel, or i would add it to my current pellet regimine. Andactim or androstanalone is more androgenic than is plain T, and that can have some great benefits. One benefit of Andractim is absolutely no aromatization and thus no risk of gyncomastia or female type of wieght gain which can occur in males with high levels of E. I think that Androstanalone has a higher affinity for the various Testosterone receptors than does just plain Testosterone, and if feels good to get that extra kick sometimes. Andractim also seemed to make for better erections as well, so that alone made it more desireable. In addition, i did not take on as much water (due to higher levels of E) and I lost a few stubborn pounds and my muscles got firmer. All in all-good stuff, but you do want to use Andractim with care and in moderation. Sbryant
Guest guest
Thanks for this my younger brother has a tube stuck up his penis can void. BPH is very bad he has had this for 2 weeks not poor guy. I told him to have his Dr.'s test his Estradiol levels. I had bad BPH and when the did a ream job on me it was good for one yr. Then same thing was back could not void. Getting my Estradiol down did the trick now I void normal. I think he is going to have a dam hard time getting this tested and treated. He was low T once and his Dr. had him on Androgel for one month the tested him and took him off it saying his levels came up WTF I wish he would have told me this the Dum Dr. never retested him.
