his answer was becasue our equioment or machines are old!!!

why would that make a differance and if it does ,surely that means tests they do

Hi

The answer is to go to a Lab that does the testing as you require.

My hospital which even researches ways of future testing would not allow me to

get tests

done locally and sent to them during the late 1980s as they did not trust the

results. It is not

far from that even now although the hospital now at least saves results from

elsewhere but

performs the tests again themselves.

Ring one or 2 labs and ask what range they test Total T and then go to the lab

you feel has

the best testing facility. If you are paying for the results do not settle for

2nd best!

no these are the nhs ones,if i was payingn then not a problem but these tests if

done by NHS surely should conform to some standard and use upto date methods

starting rrange of 6 nmo/l seems so low it must automatiocally leave many men

with being told nothing but normal,as most of us just accept what doc says to us

paul you are in normal range is what most docs say to people ,its only if yo

start asking for actual numbers as i do now that you get the truth,so again my

7.6 nmo/l is to me and you guys low ,same with my lh/fsh the free t and shbg i

still have to wait for as they go to another lab he told me.

but i should have an shbg result from may on my docs computer that i was unaware

they had done it.

but gwetting to talk to a doc is hard work ,i end up leaving notes for mine most

of time.

when the shbg and free t is known i will re look at the private doc situation

armed with latest main bllod tests,so as o only pay for diagnosis/meeting and

not the blood tests which woud make it more expensive.

regards paul
