Guest guest
If you are building muscle mass....you are doing great and if your weight is in the same range ......and you are eating as you have in the past ....and you feel great...then the treatment that you are on is doing the changes....hit the gym take advantage and bulk up the muscle mass......the hormones are working..... I've lost 39lbs on my treatment and the hole time my Dr told me to hit the gym...I now feel great I look great " as I have been told " and I can do more things now that I could not have done befor......just turned 51 and I can now keep up with the best of them Deano <DHerbert53@...> wrote: Hi Guys, Sorry I haven't posted lately. Muscle is a lot denser than fat so you'd actually look smaller at the same bodyweight. The emaciated look could be a perception of how you look with a leaner face. People I know who have lost a lot of fat do look emaciated even though they're really not. You could take up some free weight training and put that testosterone to some good use too. Another 10-20 pounds of new muscle would quiet any concerns over being emaciated.
Guest guest
Hey Dean, For me - I go 160 pounds, when I got my T up around 800, I noticed changes in fat deposition everywhere. For example, in my arms, my biceps now have a vein sticking out of it, love handles are going away, face is thinner. Bottom line, your fat to muscle ratio will improve all over your body. Yes you will look more lean in most cases. The question you should ask yourself is are you seeing a reduction in weight without changing your eating and exercises. Guest guest
Hi Dan, Now that I have you here, I would like to ask you a question. Seems Phil is gone for a couple of days and I thought you might know. I just got my blood work back on Total T - Estriadol - Free T and the results are: Oct 23 Estradiol - 35 range 20-75 Total T - 807 range 240 - 950 This is in a good range now I feel like! Free T - % Free Testosterone 1.6L range 2.0 - 4.8 Still Too low! Testosterone Free S(ng/dl) 12.9 range 9 -30 When I did my last test July 31 2006 my readings were as follows: Estradiol - 57 range 20-75 Total T 1080 H range 240-950 Too high! Free T % Free Testosterone (%) 1.7 L range 9-30 Testosterone Free S(ng/dl) 1.7 L range 2.0 - 4.8 Still too low! What is happening to the Free T Dan? What can I do to get it from the bound T? Otherwise I feel good and getting NE in the mornings pretty regular now, feels good. I cannot always climax but sometimes I do. Any suggestions to get that free T back in place? What is the difference between % Free and the regular Free readings? When you said that getting around 10 days dosage on Arimidex .25mg you were right on the money it looks like, thanks for that. It really works, now if I can just stay on that regimen things are shaping up pretty good after a year. The question is how long does it take aromotase to build back up to levels that cause problems once the arimidex is cleared. The arimidex is binding up aromotase, not blocking the conversion itself. So unbound aromotase has to be produced to some level before E2 becomes a problem again. ________________ " You never need an argument against the use of violence, you need an argument for it. Guest guest
Hey Roy - Sorry I have been working long hours and haven't had a chance to check in. Free T and % Free T are really the same thing. It is an estimate of how much of your T is freely available to react. Normally this is 2-3% of your Total. I would not worry with it as long as you are getting erections and feel good. Not being able to orgasm is symptomatic of high estradiol. I know you were close to the range with 35 but that sounds like it is still a little too high. 20-30 seems to be the best range for me. You might want to consider taking 0.25 mg of arimidex every 9 days instead of 10. In theory, that would reduce your level by ~ 10% or 32. Of course that number can vary. Just my 2 cents - Arkansas ********************************************************************************\ ************* Hi Dan, Does it seem too high since my range is 20 - 75 and not like most whose top range is 50? I could reduce it by going 9 days though if you think that may be the reason for no orgasm. Just a thought. Thanks for he 2 cents!! Sorry to hear you have been working long hours, that can be a killer! Blessings Roy --------------------------------- Get your own web address for just $1.99/1st yr. We'll help. Small Business. Just my 2 cents - Arkansas ********************************************************************* Dan if my free T is supposed to be around 2-3% of my total T, then it should be around 24 right? Actually it was 12.0 range 9-30. Which is low. Is the only way to increase Armidex value to get more free T, or drop down to 9 days instead of my present 10 day schedule? My total T was 807 range 20-950 which is a different range than you have isn't it? I think I calcualted that right. What is your range? By the way the VA test said my total T was high. 8.96 range 1.75- 7.81 whatever that means. Oct. 18th. Free was 14.4 range for >50yrs 11-25 pg/mL They don't agree with my lab test here locally for some reason and they were taken Oct. 18th at VA and Oct. 10th at local Hospital. Only 8 days apart, figure? I just don't believe the VA test as they use different labs every time they test. Oh well-- Blessings, Roy

Think I wil try that to my regimen and see what happens. Although pumping has given me more morning wood too so I know that it helps me. Thanks for that thread Dave. Maybe I can reduce my T shots even more. I have reduced them already since my E2 has come down. Blessings, Roy --------------------------------- Messenger with Voice.
