Guest guest
My pharmacy charged me $9.99 for two needles. Do I just go to Walmart and go to the Pharmacy and ask for a 1.5 " 21 gauge box of needles and they will sell them to me? > > ********************************************************************************\ *** > Hi gripperm, > Where in the world did you find needles (2) for $9.99. It amounts to a trade off between how long it takes to fill the syringe and how much it hurts/how much of your flesh you damage. The big needle (21g) will take less time to fill the syringe, but it is more painful and cuts more skin and more muscle tissue going in. Go for at least as small as 25g. Guest guest
I was just going by what the Endo ordered and he ordered 1.5 " 21 gauge. He said if that hurt too much he might write a script for 22 gauge. I just dont see how you all are getting them so cheap. > > > > My pharmacy charged me $9.99 for two needles. I also get some stuff from Allegro Medical (http://www.allegromedical.com/categories/shop-by- category/syringes/570.html) Check in their subcategories. I like their 1 ml slip luer syringes. Howerver, Getpinz (http://gpzservices.easystorecreator.com/Browse_dept_items.asp/categ_i d/8/parent_ids/0,1/Name/Needle_Only) has a better selection of needles, especially in the longer lengths. Not sure if all states are like that, I think most of them are. Also, the stuff from Allegro and Getpinz are shipped " discrete " . Go in and ask for 1ml 27G1/2 guage. They ask me how many and I usually buy a couple of dozen at a time. In what State do youi live, that may make a difference I don't know. I sure don't need a script for them here. They don't even ask me what I am going to use them for. Guest guest
I read that the FDA was tracking people who use that site because I guess alot of Bodybuilders use it for needles. I thin I will just stick going to the Pharmacy where everything is above board. > Howerver, Getpinz > (http://gpzservices.easystorecreator.com/Browse_dept_items.asp/categ_i > d/8/parent_ids/0,1/Name/Needle_Only) has a better selection of > needles, especially in the longer lengths. > Rich >
Guest guest
I read about that too. It was a couple of years ago.The outcome apparently is that someone hacked into Getpinz and sent fake emails (from " dea.com " , not gov.) saying they were being " watched " or " tracked " , something like that. The letters were BS and Getpinz has since fixed their security from the hack. One thing is for sure, if you're in Calif. be very careful, wherever you get needles and syringes, online or off. There and in Illinois, you need a script at a pharmacy. Maybe Pennsylvania...But in Calif., from some posts I read, the authorities can be nasty just on possession no matter where you got them from. If you're nervous about ordering online, by all means try the local stores first (that'll at least tell you if you need a script.) I personally like online outlets like Getpinz because they're cheaper and often have a better selection of sizes than the local pharmacy. And in Mich. I don't need a script. I just dont see how you all are getting them so cheap. ******************************************************************************* Did you go to Wal-Mart and ask for them as I told you to? I just ask for them, no script needed. I use a 1ml27G1/2 syringe. It just takes a little longer to extricate from the bottle but it sure is fine for injection. Much less pain than those big needles. It's a trad off for a minute or so to pull from the bottle as to the less pain that it gives. Again I ask you, did you go to Wal-Mart pharmacy and ask? They cost me .19cents apiece.
