Guest guest
Hey Eugene - I use the 200 mg/ml Depo. I inject ~ 0.4 ml per week and have seen no difference when I get to the bottom of the vial (~ 6 months). Just be sure to keep the vial in the right environment (cool and no sun). Arkansas eugenekeddy <eugenekeddy@...> wrote: I have just started on 100 mg of T cyp. per week, self injected. My bottle is 200 mg/mL, so I inject 1/2 mL per week, but I think most men are using the 100 mg/mL bottle and injecting 1 mL per week. My question is this: does anyone know if the 200 mg/mL T cyp. has a shorter half-life than the 100 mg/mL? Since there is less oil, I wonder if it doesn't last as long as the 100 mg/mL strength. Guest guest
Dan you mean you get 6mo out of a 200mg/ml bottle of Depo? I haven't figured out yet how much 0.4 ml is yet on my syringe yet. I take 75ml every week. Last check I had on my Total T was at the top end of the scale and now have my E2 in the right place for me. I took one 20mg Cialis yesterday and I had a pretty good erection this morning, Hurrah! First time in over 5 years. Anyway I get two full shots and 50ml left over for the third shot on a 200mg/ml bottle so it sure doesn't last 6 mo. for me. Guest guest
Hi Eugene, I was for a long time getting my shots at my Dr. in the butt. They use 100mgs/ml I now do my shots at home using 200mgs./ml in the thigh can't tell a difference. Guest guest
Roy are you sure on this .4mls is 80mgs. on 200mgs/ml of depo T. How many mls does your vial say it has. If your using 200mgs/ml of depo shooting at 75mls this more then my vile holds. I am sure your doing a 75mg shot this on my needle would be using 200mgs/ml a shot of .37 mls. My Depo T says it holds 10 mls. This is 2000 mgs. total. Read what it says on your vile to me. Phil Roy <chickenbirdtree@...> wrote: Dan you mean you get 6mo out of a 200mg/ml bottle of Depo? You're getting two doses of 75ml and then have 50ml left over? That's 200ml total. The vial only has 10ml in it to start with. Unless your vials are made like Dr. Who's Tardis this cannot be so. The vial has 10ml of solution in it to start with. Each ml of solution contains 200mg of testosterone cypionate. The vial as a whole initially contains 2,000mg of testosterone cypionate in 10ml of solution. I'm not sure what you're doing but we need to sort that out. Guest guest
Hey Roy - the vial contains 10 milliliters(mls) so I use ~ 0.5 mls per shot per week. Therefore I get 20 weeks from 1 vial. OK - 5 months not 6. At 0.4 mls I get 80 mgs of T per week. Sometimes if it is the day of the shot and I still feel good I will do 0.3 mls (or 60 mgs). Guest guest
Unless the VA gives out small vials I don't know what to think of this. I am sure he does shots at 75 mgs. per week. So if the vile has 1ml of T. in it then 2 shots would have 50mgs left in it. brad999us <no_reply > wrote: If he had been doing doses of 75mgs/shot, he'd be getting many more doses out of the vial. Guest guest
I'm a little late getting in here. They do make a 1ml vial containing 200mg/ml. Tiny little things. You need a magnifying glass to read the label. When I first started self injecting at the university hospital, they prescribed those. My uro issued a script for the 10ml version. I also got by mistake a vial of 10ml, 100mg/ml T which I took back to the pharmacy (without trying) for my regular 200mg/ml strength. Guest guest
Brad you are exactly right. It is a vial of 200mg/ml. I just have never had it explained to me what the abbrevaitions really mean and I never had chemistry I was told to take 4 tics on the 3ml syringe, ok? Even with all of you guys help I still don't know the reason for both ml and mg as mg/ml why both? I take two shots out of the vial and have 50mg left for the 3rd shot, right? Guest guest
I still haven't figured out why put both figures on this like mg/ml. Why not one or the other?----- Ml is a (liquid) volume measurement, while Mg is a weight measurement. 200mg/ml means that each milliliter (ml) of fluid contains 200 milligrams (mg) of testosterone. The slash symbolizes 'per' as in 200 mg of T per single ml of liquid. It sounds like the total contents of this vial are 1 ml, and each dose is *approximately* 1/3rd of a ml of liquid containing 75mg of testosterone. Guest guest
No Phil the VA is paying for the T but they won't pay for the Arimidex or the Cialis. That is what is breaking me up, cash out of pocket. Does your insurance pay for all your medications you are taking, either they are or you sure have a nice retirement benefit !!! I know I am dosing ok because my daughter is a paramedic but she did't explain all the details of the dosing to me and I didn't want to bother her. I know it is hard to do the dosage of 75mg on a 3ml syringe but I just take 4 tics on the marks as she said. It won't make that much difference if it is 80 she said. I don't know whether I can affored the Cialis or not. Cost me $65.00 for five 20mg pills. WOW! Blessings, Roy philip georgian <pmgamer18@...> wrote: Roy your ok I just got scared you we doing the wrong dose. You vile must be smaller then mine. My vile holds 10mls of 200mgs.per ml. Guest guest
I made one mistake, it does say this is a 1ml vial Sorry about that Blessings, Roy Roy <chickenbirdtree@...> wrote: you finally make some sense to me. Guest guest
Roy, I took Levitra daily for a year and of course, insurance only covered half the cost of 6 pills every 34 days. Who ever thought that one up...34 days? Anyhow, I found it cheaper to go to Costco where I get 15 20mg. pills for 147 dollars then cut them in half. That gives me 30 doses. Don't know if you have a Costco around but check out what ever warehouse stores there are and see what the cost is. You'll find it's cheaper. Being a member is a requirement to buy RX in most warehouse stores. Good Luck,

Just be sure to keep the vial in the right environment (cool and no sun). Arkansas eugenekeddy wrote: I have just started on 100 mg of T cyp. per week, self injected. Guest guest
I haven't heard of a Costco store but I will check around and see. Thanks for the info. I noticed you took Levitra, did you ever take Cialis? Do you have any side affects with Levitra? Did they work for you? I will ask my doc to see if he has some freebees that I can try too first. Also you said you took it for a year, why did you stop if you don't mind me asking. Roy Vickie or <plp40@...> wrote: Roy, I took Levitra daily for a year and of course, insurance only covered half the cost of 6 pills every 34 days. Good Luck,
Guest guest
If money is tight you could go to the ED group and ask where the best price is for Cialis. Alt-Support-Impotence-ASI/ Maybe Cottonfarm can help you on this. Phil Roy <chickenbirdtree@...> wrote: No phil no wood this morning. Will be taking another tomorrow, hope it does better. Sure wish I could get those prices, really good! I don't think should cut them in half until I find out how 20mg works. Roy philip georgian wrote: Yes they pay for every thing I am a retired Engineer from the Audo industry and in the Union. But little by little with every new contract I lose more. So far I pay $5.00 for a 90 day supply. So I get 36 pills of Cialis every 90 days. What happened this morning any more wood. You can try cutting them in half and see if it works. WOW! Blessings, Roy philip georgian wrote: Roy your ok I just got scared you we doing the wrong dose. You vile must be smaller then mine. My vile holds 10mls of 200mgs.per ml. So this means the vile holds 2000 mg of Deop T. Your vile must be much smaller total it holds is 1ml of 200mgs per ml. for a total of 200mgs of Depo T. Do you pay for this if so ask for a 10ml vile I think it would cost less. Phil Roy wrote: Phil my vial says it is 200mg/ml. I am taking 75mg per week, or about 4 tics on the syringe. I get two shots and 50mg left over for the third shot. At least that is how I read it. They had me on 150mg every two weeks but it cut it in half to about 75mg per week. Isn't this correct? I still haven't figured out why put both figures on this like mg/ml. Can you explain that to me? Why not one or the other? Isn't 2ml equal to 200mg? I know my dosage is ok though my daughter showed me how much to do. Roy philip georgian wrote: Roy are you sure on this .4mls is 80mgs. on 200mgs/ml of depo T. Phil Roy wrote: Dan you mean you get 6mo out of a 200mg/ml bottle of Depo? Guest guest
Roy, I haven't stopped taking Levitra. I take it on demand now instead of every day. 10 mgs was all that is required for the purpose I was taking it...post prostatectomy a year ago. I still use Levitra but now it's only on demand, 10 works for me as well as 20 so I just stick to the 10. The only side effect is a stuffed up nose for a couple of hours som of the time. I have used Cialis and didn't have a problem with it at all. For the purpose I was using it, the Levitra was doing a better job. Plus, I could cut them in half much better than the Cialis. I may try Cialis again, who knows.
