Here are some links for you to read in this link it is the opposite of your

question but has the answer.

A cut & paste from this link.

The % free has no independent significance. It is only used to calculate the

free testosterone level. So this value does not deserve too much attention; it

does not have any diagnostic meaning by itself.

I have been reading back on your posts and feel you can have a Thyroid and

Adreal problem your Test as follows.

Thyroid Panel 3

T4(thyroxine) 7.7 ug/dl 4.5-12.0 ug/dl

T3 uptake 35.0 24-45 %

free thyroxine index 2.7 1.1-4.4

TSH .872 0.350-5.500 uIU/ml

Cortisol Level 15 ug/dl adult am 4-22 pm 3-17

(test was taken 2:40pm)

Free T3 2.8 2.3-4.2 pg/ml

Free T4 1.19 0.71-1.85 ng/dl

Looks like you can be hypothyroid but I am not good on Thyroid problems and just

started looking into it. Please go to this site and post this test to get some

input on this test. Dr.'s feel if your in range you good my Dr. is like this he

told me my Thyroid is good yet at this site it is not good. So I posted around

and did some searching and yes my Thyroid is low.

Read this site and post at the Men's Thyroid Forum. To get some input. If

your Thyroid is off you need to treat it first then check T levels. Some times

when you fix your Thyroid your T levels get better. But the problem getting it

treated is finding a Dr. up on this.

Also go here and start checking your Temp and charting it from the print out

at this site.

Doing this will tell you how your Thyroid and Adrenal's are doing. I am not

sure about this but it is worth a try.

Then what is your opinion, anyone, why my free % is high with a low

testosterone count? Is there a pattern with this that you guys can see?

On the subject of testosterone delivery systems... when taking gels,

your bodies own testosterone is suppressed and using shots it is not?

I have read that taking gels may cause the brain to sense the

testosterone and suppress your own production, and when using shots,

it 'adds' to your own bodies production. Please help clarify.

God Bless,

Chris
