Guest guest
Hi Mike, and welcome to our group. There certainly may be people here that are diagnosed with kallmans. Regardless, here you will get a lot of support and information about hormone " issues " , so read and ask questions, we are all in it together here! best wishes Mike Norton
Guest guest
Hi Mike, are you taking any Exogenous sex steroids to help you out? HCG etc. regards david Kallman's Syndrome Hi my name is Mike and I'm new to your group. This is my first time writing to you. Iam presently 31 years old, I was diagnosed with kallman's syndrome at the age of 19. Is there anyone else out there with this syndrome? As you know this is a very embarassing isssue to speak of but as I have gotten older I've been able to adapt. Depression and lack of family morale has also taken its toll on me, but I'm still here. I have started an Indie film company called blacksheep and tried to move on with my life. You can see a short of my film I'm working on at blacksheepfilms.org Any info will be obliged

Guest guest
I used to be on testosterone cream that you rub on your body. I went from shooting it, to patches to the cream. Guest guest
HI Mike Welcome to the group. If you are looking for people that have KAllman's there is a Kallman's support group on the as well. There are people from all around the world there. I have just recently been diagnosed with IHH which is similar to Kallman's but has varying degrees in which it affects us its just that our sense of smell is usually not affected but in KAllman's it usually is. They have lots of good info at the Kallman's group there .....everywhere from Doctors who see patients and specialize in Kallman's to where you can get help with all aspects of your well being. Loads of people that can really relate with what you are going through and lend a helping hand. hope this helps Manraj Mike <black_sheep_films@...> wrote: I used to be on testosterone cream that you rub on your body. Guest guest
Hi Mike, Kallmann syndrome, (KS), AKA as Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, is a lack of the pituitary hormones LH and FSH. Treatment is restoring the deficient hormones -- known as HRT. Males are administered human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) or testosterone. Most of us on this board, take HRT. Kallmann syndrome is a form of secondary hypogonadism reflecting the fact the primary cause of the defect in sex hormone production lies within the pituitary and hypothalamus rather than a physical defect of the testes, themselves. The main health risk, if left untreated is osteoporosis. I have, not been diagnosed with KS, per sey, but I do have secondary hypgonadism, for which I take HCG, twice a week, which improves my life dramatically. best regards, david Kallman's Syndrome > > > Hi my name is Mike and I'm new to your group. Or does it mimic LH/FSH? If it is to stimulate it, HCG would not help someone with KS, right? God Bless, Chris
Guest guest
HCG mimics LH, and most likely FSH,as well, it is very normal, for the medics to prescribe it for males who are affected with Kallman Syndrone. I see your point, but if you wore a hat noone else would notice:-) best regards david > > > > Hi Mike, > > > > Kallmann syndrome, (KS), AKA as Hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, > > is a lack of the pituitary hormones LH and FSH. Guest guest
No. You must be confusing it with clomid or nolvadex. HCG is ANALOGOUS to LH. HCG does not stimulate the pituitary gland to release LH, it acts like LH itself (which actually causes the pituitary to produce less LH).
