Guest guest
Best thing is to read the internet resources also. Hormone in crystal form that gradually dissolves 24/7 for 4 months typically. This hormone is exactly the same chemically as human hormone. Only compounding pharmacies can manufacture this because of some laws that pharmaceutical houses are excluded. As a result there is not a lot of competition, no advertising and many sources. In my humble opinion, pharmaceutical houses do not want doctors to know anything about this form of therapy and create controversy to ward off this less expensive form of hormone therapy. It is superior for women who have had hysterectomies or post menopausal with progesterone for 7 days each month. Studies keep fogging the issue with very small changes in results that are not easily due to hormones but such things as health issues in the group being studied like eating habits, obesity, age, smoking and drinking, other health problems and family health histories, stress levels in their lives, whether before or after menopause, etc. These are inserted under the skin using a trocar, tubular with a sharp chisel tip. The pelles are inserted up to 10 at a time into the center tube and shoved under the skin into fatty tissue on the side below the belt line to dissolve. I get 20 - 75 mg pellets every 4 months. Read this tutorial type web site which has some details. http://members.aol.com/natrajan9/index.htm The following doctors provide hormone pellet therapy. D. Natrajan, Augusta, GA Dr. Lovell, Baton Rouge, LA Dr. Charlton R. , Laurel, MS ernestnolan > > Can someone tell me " pelletts " are and if they help with e.d., is > there a site for purchase? Guest guest
Can some of you on pellets tell us what your estradio numbers and free testosterone measurements are? I would have thought that have T released in fatty tissue would lead to a lot of aromatization that changes T into estradiol. Guest guest
Hi Tom, My TRT began in 1991 long before there was much known about T being converted to E2. I believe this came to light in the last 10 years or less. As I have the same concerns about E2 being a problem, I asked my endocrinologist about the possibility I needed a test for E2. This was his explanation. He said, no, the reason our body converts T to E2 is because the hormone regulation system within the body reacts to sudden changes in levels of hormone. When the level is seen to be above the normal expected by the regulation system after an injection, it reacts for a period and converts T to E2. I should not have the same problem as my pellets dissolve at the same slow rate 24/7 for about 4 months. Those receiving injections cause a sudden level change above the body's current level of T. The longer between injections, the greater change in level is seen. Those injecting twice or three times per week will have less of a problem with converstion to E2. This does not mean an increase in the total mg per week is needed, it just means spreading the 100mg/week into 3 injections or more. This is painful of course. Now for another instance when there is high E2. Some men do have a problem with E2 being high for other reasons, I have been told. This has been born out by testing and relief has been obtained by treating that without being involved in TRT. This problem is something I have no information on. ernestnolan > > > > > > Can someone tell me " pelletts " are and if they help with e.d., is > > > there a site for purchase? Guest guest
I wish this were true but it's not many men at MESO went on pellets and still have to take arimdex to keep there Estradiol down. & nbsp; I am not knocking your Endo but this is not true. & nbsp; Just read this link older men not on TRT and some younger ones have very high Estradiol levels and this is the cause of there low T levels. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 There are lot of men on a higher dose of T shots and don't have Estradiol problems. & nbsp; There is no cookie cutter recipe on this. Guest guest
Hi, I think you may have given me the wrong web site. I did not find " many men at MESO went on pellets and still have to take arimdex to keep there Estradiol down. " I saw there was no mention of subjects in the study involved with this form of therapy. To the best of my read, this data involved the effect of adding only arimdex without any TRT involved. There was cricisizm of the various forms of therapy types . The conclusion was described as not very significant effects even though the level of T went up to some degree in these 37 men. If there is a study that shows estrogen levels go up when testosterone pellet therapy is provided, I would be glad to see these results. I do not know of any study that showed this result. I must admit I have never seen any study on this. ernestnolan > & gt; & gt; & gt; > & gt; & gt; & gt; Can someone tell me " pelletts " are and if they help with e.d., is > & gt; & gt; & gt; there a site for purchase? Guest guest
If you're interested in pellets here's a site for you: _http://www.sottopelletherapy.com/index.html_ (http://www.sottopelletherapy.com/index.html) There are trained doctors in about 28 states (see sight for doctors in your state under physicians) These pellets are not testosterone but are a bio identical and made from natural plants (soy). I can guarantee you they work. I've been on the pellets for over a year now and found this to be the best form of therapy. Before this I was on HCG for 15 years. It worked fine and raised my testosterone (I'm secondary hypogonadism) to around 800 but taking shots 3 times a week was a pain. I also experienced an up and down fluctuation every 3 days that was sometimes unpleasant. The implant is really painless and takes about 10 minutes. You will have a sore lump for about a week. For me the pellets last about 3 months. The cost varies depending on the doctor. I get about 10 double pellets at $60.00 per pellet plus $250 charge to implant them. Blood test range around $150.00 every time you get them so the total costs me about $1000.00 every 3 months. Unfortunately this seems to be the most expensive form of therapy. You will also have to take Arimidex but in very low doses (1 MG per week - 1 pill = 1 mg). 30 pills will cost about $225.00 but will last you 8 1/2 months. The amount of pellets is based on your testosterone level without added treatments. Mine was only 250 so I need a lot of pellets. The goal of Sottopelle is to get your testosterone levels up to 800 - 1100, keeping your free T high and your esterol low. If your natural T is higher this will cost you much less and I've researched other doctors who charge less for pellets. It pays to do some research. Hope this helps, Jim **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers. Watch " Cooking with Tyler Florence " on AOL Food. Guest guest
I am sorry I don't have the time to read all the posts 138 of them to show you there were men on pellets and need to keep there E2 down. & nbsp; I am a mod at 5 sites and I am finding at times I can't keep up. & nbsp; & nbsp; Here is a study of older men not on testosterone meds that have low testosterone do to high levels of Estradiol and just getting it down there T levels went up. & nbsp; Now if man older are having high Estradiol problems and not on TRT or pellets what more proof would you need. & nbsp; It's a big problem even for men not doing testosterone. & nbsp; So why would you and your Endo feel this is not a problem. & nbsp; Also if I remember right you never had your Estradiol tested your Dr.'s is not up on this problems most are not. & nbsp; I am finding men even younger men are not feeling well getting tested for Total and Free T with LH and FSH and they are finding they are low on all 4 tests so Dr.'s are not doing more testing and just putting them on TRT. & nbsp; Yet we now know if your Estradiol is high your brain can't tell the difference and will think it's Testosterone and stop sending the LH and FSH messages to the testis to make more T. & nbsp; Dr.'s are thinking this these young men are Secondary yet they don't bother to test the Estradiol. & nbsp; I just got done posting to a young man that tested like this and after some time posting back and forth I find out he started drinking SOY MILK this puts a none working marker in the cells that looks like Estradiol and BAM he has low Testosterone. & nbsp; All he needs to do and did was to take some Indolplex/DIM and stop the SOY MILK. & nbsp; Now doing this just one week he is feeling better and stopped the DIM. & nbsp; Estradiol is every where in are meat they pump the cows full of E's so they hold water and weigh more. & nbsp; Estradiol is in the plastic bottles we drink water and pop from and it gets in to are food from sprays that are put on Veg's and Fruit we eat it's every where. & nbsp; http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/full/89/3/1174 Co-Moderator & amp;quot;Don & amp;#39;t believe anything you hear and only half of what you see. & amp;quot; Phil From: ernestnolan & lt;ernestnolan@... & gt; Subject: Re: What Are Pelletts? Guest guest
Now your doing good on them I called the same people in my state and they told me they would not give me the amount I need and your taking about what I need. & nbsp; Also the cost is very high I tried them some 15 yrs. ago the Dr. that gave me them gave me pellets he used for women. & nbsp; I was told this would last me 4 to 6 months I crashed in 4 weeks payed this Dr. more money to give me more and my levels fell in 4 weeks. & nbsp; I told him it feels like my levels are falling and he told me I am Depressed WTF that was a lot of money to learn a hard lesson about doing pellets. & nbsp; The Dam Dr. here in my state for SottoPelle will not give he half of what I need and had the nerve to tell me I would need to come in and get them every 8 weeks at that cost it all a big con. & nbsp; Here in my state the Dr.'s that do pellets rip you off and they go out of business as fast as they go into it. & nbsp; I am sick of the shots too I do my Depo T shots every 3 days and my HCG the 2 days each in between my T shots so I do a shot everyday. Guest guest
Hi Philip, I agree high E2 is a big problem with men not taking T or especially those receiving injections of T. I am not aware of any information on high E2 with those receiving hormone pellets. I inquired and was told by a world renouned endocrinologist, it is unheard of with men due to the pellets. If there is a problem with E2 it is due to something else. He did not give me a study to read either. You are right, I have never been tested for high E2. I have never felt miserable since starting TRT. ernestnolan > & gt; & amp;gt; & amp;gt; & amp;gt; > & gt; & amp;gt; & amp;gt; & amp;gt; Can someone tell me " pelletts " are and if they help > with e.d., is > & gt; & amp;gt; & amp;gt; & amp;gt; there a site for purchase?
