Guest guest
, I feel perfectly fine taking the clomiphene. I have only been taking it for three weeks, however, and I haven't noticed any side effects yet. I also haven't noticed an increase in sex drive either, which is the goal of taking it because I have ED. The reason I am only taking this drug is because I am so young. I am only 21. The doctors worry that consistently taking testosterone gel at my age will have some bad side effects such as decreased sperm production. Since I am not married yet and don't have kids, decreased sperm production would be bad news. > > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my sex > > drive up. Guest guest
I need to say this about Clomid I have talked to men that did it and have permanent floaters in the eyes. Some get messed up in there head. I would not take this for very long. Phil waynegynecomastia <waynegynecomastia@...> wrote: , I feel perfectly fine taking the clomiphene. Guest guest
As I've said before, you got to find a good doctor and your dose, usually by trial and error. Most doses, I've read here about are way too big for a long term use. > > > > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my sex > > > drive up. Guest guest
Floaters in the eyes? Yikes. I cannot have that happen to me. My vision is crucial because I am going into the military soon to be a pilot. And what do you mean by messed up in their head? > > > > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my sex > > > drive up. Guest guest
Hi Wayne Sorry to hear about your problems. However, I am not sure clomophene is the right answer or not by itself. When I tried clomphene as part of a stimulation test (1994) I remember having an increase in libido but not wow factor. I took it for ca 10 days. However, I did have increased sperm and good quality. Have you seen someone specifically about the ED problems especially as those other meds (Viagra etc) have not worked? Have you a Total Testosterone level for us to work on? What type of medic are you speaking to? For ED problems you may well need to see a urologist as it may not be hormonal although Viagra has not worked. It would help if you feel able to explain some of the symptoms and feels. For example: Do you have any morning erections or whilst you are asleep? Do you have wet dreams When did you first suffer this? From birth or? What blood tests has the medic done? What are the results? If you are alone and relaxed; can you (i) Have an orgasm (ii) Get a hard-on eventually If you get an hard-on what is the quality? ANyhow, I hope you feel able to answer as it helps others as well but these sort of questions help to move forward with possible causes and how to diagnose and treat and/or find the best type of specialist. Take care - Good luck! On 10 Jan 2007 at 19:06, waynegynecomastia wrote: > , I feel perfectly fine taking the clomiphene. Guest guest
I just had to say this so anyone thinking about doing this knows there are sides for some men. Guest guest
It's hard to put it to words out of it like brain fog. Guest guest
Hi Wayne An after-thought about the condition in general. Until we have blood tests and/or diagnosis of whether you have primary Hypogonadism, Secondary Hypogonadism, Tertiary Hypogonadism or some other cause of ED and reduced testosterone we can only hit in the dark with wider questions and answers. Also, it is very important the differences between Primary as against Secondary and Tertiary in the symptoms and possible treatments as well as other causes such as neurological it really is important to find this out firstly. I think most people here and certainly the teaching hospitals that I have attended would not prescribe any medication until there was a diagnosis. Clomiphene can only really effectively work if it is Secondary or Tertiary Hypogonadism as if the testes are not working Clomiphene cannot get the testes to produce more testosterone if it is already failing. As to fertility, this is Pituitary with FSH and LH and this is also the area of memory and affected by stresses and infections which can also cause post viral fatigue etc etc. Without blood tests of FSH and LH before and after how is your medic seeing if clomiphene is working or now if the ED is from a different aetiology? Do you see what I am saying? If you have ED and slight Hypogonadism the smallest stresses might stop you have sexual intercourse. However, by taking / prescribing meds such as Clomiphene or anything similar without measuring blood levels of hormones you may not now get a proper diagnosis for the condition - certainly not without stopping your meds for a longish period of time. I hope this helps. On 10 Jan 2007 at 19:06, waynegynecomastia wrote: > , I feel perfectly fine taking the clomiphene.
