Guest guest
HI wayne From what I understand clomiphene blocks your hypothalamus from sensing the T level in your blood and keeps sending GNRH signals to your pituitary and this in turn keeps a constant supply of LH and FSH in your blood even though there may or may not be adequate T levels in your blood. I don't know why you are on this long term it is usually used as a demand test to prove or disprove LH and fsh blood levels and T levels and find out if you are primary hypo secondary hypo or tertiary hypo. It is also used in cases when people have been on TRT for some time and want to get their sperm count up when they are trying to get their wives pregnant. I know some people are taking this not knowing that this is not a good long term therapy for getting T levels up. Have you had your LH and FSh levels tested along with T levels before you started this med and then afterward ? There is a whole whack of other tests that need to be done too. Phil usually refers everyone to www.allthingsmale.com to print out and give to your doctor. it has most of the regular tests on there. I am personally getting this clomiphene test administered soon because my doctor believes that I have a problem in my hypothalamus that is causing problems and this test will not work for me if he is right. So he is using it as a tool to prove once and for all one way or the other. Hope this helps Manraj > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my sex > drive up. Guest guest
Hi Wayne May I ask how you feel whilst taking Clomiphene? I took it for only 10 days but felt quite unwell on it - fortunately I was having it as part of the stimulation test. I am considering asking for a short term course again now since some of the benefits when combined with TRT at the time (1994) were encouraging - I just felt unwell and would not like to take it long-term whilst feeling that way. May I ask if you are only taking Clomiphene to improve your Hypogonadism? Guest guest
Is it true that injections of GNRH will make the balls grow bigger? Is there anything that can be done about that? manraj2005 <no_reply > wrote: HI wayne From what I understand clomiphene blocks your hypothalamus from sensing the T level in your blood and keeps sending GNRH signals to your pituitary and this in turn keeps a constant supply of LH and FSH in your blood even though there may or may not be adequate T levels in your blood. Guest guest
5 years ago, at age 42 was diagnosed witn ideopathic secondary hypo. Since then tried all forms of TRT (HCG, patches etc), all gave me horrible sideeffects due to T/E2 flactuations. 4 years ago started Clomid, it took me awhile to find the right dose, (started on 25mf/day, which kept my T in 1200 range), but now I am on 12.5mg/EOD for about 3 years already, works great for me, no side effects, all hormones in the raNGE, feel good, keeps my T~400-500 (250 w/o Clomid), ED almost nonexistant. You need to find an MD experienced in Clomid therapy, cause most way overdose you. I highly recommend Dr. Hulinsky in CT, you can find him in the list of doctors here. If you go to him, say Hi from from California. > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my sex > drive up. Guest guest
Thanks, Manraj. So far I've only had one blood test done, and I don't have the results with me. I am seeing an endocrinologist in two days and he will be able to tell me more. > > > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my sex > > drive up. Guest guest
Hi . That is very encouraging. It's great to hear that it works with no side effects. To be honest, this testosterone gel scares me. I do not want to take it solely because of the side effects. I have been on clomiphene for about 3 weeks now. In another 2 weeks, a girl I've been seeing for a while is coming home and due to special circumstances, we'll have her apartment all to ourselves. I've had a severe case of ED with her in the past (can't get it up about 70% of the time, even with viagra, cialis, levitra). Is there a prayer in hell that the clomiphene will help me by the time I am visiting her at her apartment? > > > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my sex > > drive up. Guest guest
Just a note for those that talk about the problem of floaters in the eyes from Clomiphene. Floaters in the eyes can also be caused by Arimidex- I know because I have got them. > > > > > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my sex > > > drive up. Guest guest
Wayne, I am on Clomid (38 years old) and have been for a bit. I have found that with Clomid, everything comes back slowly including libido and erections. First, muscle, then, clarity, then evening/morning erections, then libido/spont. erections. It was very gradual with me over a few months. However, given that my system has been messed up my entire life, I am not shocked that it takes time to respond. It is the only thing that works for me (tried shots, gel, patches and compounded) and I have not experienced any side effects, not one. My levels are incredible in LH, FSH and T (with good SBGH and E2). I have been very pleased - currently on 75mgs. every other day. Blessings to you and be under the care of a good doctor! Guest guest
How bad are these floaters? Do they go away when you stop taking the drug? > > > > > > > > I am currently taking clomiphene three times a week to get my > sex > > > > drive up.
