People on way too high a dose of T can have an increase in depression. Everyone is different. This is not something to take lightly. Call your doctor! You asked a couple of powerful questions there without too much information given to us! I'm just kind of sitting here wondering all sorts of things about you. Would you mind letting us know WHY you think you may need a psyciatrist and/or a lifestyle involving TRT? All I can say right now is that I wish I would have had my " T " levels taken before starting an antidepressant of the SSRI class 18 months ago. It sure would have saved me a lot of frustration and confusion. Please let us know what brings you to this conclusion that you may need to see one or the other (or both!) docs and then perhaps we could give you only some advice as most of us guys here are not doctors but in many ways that's better! If you DO go to a doc for " T " testing first, You can go to an Endo or a Uro or you may be lucky and have a doctor that is commonly called an " anti-aging " doc in your area. Either way, don't mention anything about " aggravated depression or depression to such an extreme or " they " may just think you're depressed and skip the " T " test altogether. OK? We hope to hear from you again. Aloha for now, Wayne
Guest guest
Hi, What dosage are you getting per week and what form of T therapy is involved? T usually gives you a sense of well being and reverses depression. It has lots of physiological and psychological benefits. Never heard of depression related to TRT but guess it could happen. It is tough to get an expert endocrinologist as most doctors get their technical training from pharmaceutical reps who want to sell their expensive products. They even tell the doctor to give dosages that are to low to insure they can't be held accountable for something IMHO. Good doctors know what is right and ignore the reps. Check this web site for Dr. Gambrell: http://www.members.aol.com/gambr999/ He has been treating hormone related problems for decades and IMHO is an expert like no other. I am his patient and so is the wife. ernestnolan > > i need to see a new doc but i also need to see a mental doc as well > but i need to see the endo doc first. do you think i could talk the > end doc in to seeing me in less than 3 months? i need to see this new > doc to see of the T is messing with my mind or if its really > aggravated depression what ever that is. >

Guest guest
Hey lostmind - welcome to the group. Why do you think it is roid rage. Were you ever at levels 2 to 3 times the normal range for testosterone? You mentioned you got a shot every 2 weeks, depending on what you were taking, it is unlikely that this is your issue. It won't hurt to go to the endo and get your levels checked but my guess based on the limited amount of info we have is it is something else. A psycologist (mind doc) may be able to help you more. It could be a chemical imbalace. Good Luck - Arkansas lostmind0987654321 <lostmind0987654321@...> wrote: dont ask me all that i dont rember and dont care that was 2 years ago so i have stoped taking my shots i know i ether need more or less (most likely more) i was taking doses that were extreamly small and i had them half doses every 2 weeks as set by my family doc after my mind became more violent. and i dont have depression. its agatated depression(sp) its the oppaset of depression i dont normaly get sad i get angery, anxiety and pissed. so i need to see if this is some sort of roid rage (dosent that happen when you have too much though?) or if it is this strange depression. > > > > i need to see a new doc but i also need to see a mental doc as well > > but i need to see the endo doc first. do you think i could talk the > > end doc in to seeing me in less than 3 months? i need to see this new > > doc to see of the T is messing with my mind or if its really > > aggravated depression what ever that is. > > >
Guest guest
Lostmind need more info if your shots were every 2 weeks what kind of T shot was it and how much. Also this can cause your Estradiol to go way up and when high it makes one feel very agitated and stressed out with feels of panic or anxiety. When my E2 Estradiol was high I had panic attacks every night and could not stand my self. Doing shots every 2 weeks dumps a lot of T into the blood more then the body needs so most of it gets converted into Estradiol " E2 " . You talk about having a very low dose of T I need to know how low. Doing low dose of T will still stop your body from making T and dam low levels of T will make you feel like your crazy. If the shots were every week and say 100 mgs. you would feel much better but not if you have High Estradiol. So get back to me your not going crazy just not getting the right tests done and treatment. Guest guest
This can happen when your Estradiol levels are to high have it checked it is a blood test. http://www.smart-drugs.com/ias-estrogen.htm Phil lostmind0987654321 <lostmind0987654321@...> wrote: dont ask me all that i dont rember and dont care that was 2 years ago so i have stoped taking my shots i know i ether need more or less (most likely more) i was taking doses that were extreamly small and i had them half doses every 2 weeks as set by my family doc after my mind became more violent. and i dont have depression. its agatated depression(sp) its the oppaset of depression i dont normaly get sad i get angery, anxiety and pissed. so i need to see if this is some sort of roid rage (dosent that happen when you have too much though?) or if it is this strange depression. > > > > i need to see a new doc but i also need to see a mental doc as well > > but i need to see the endo doc first. do you think i could talk the > > end doc in to seeing me in less than 3 months? i need to see this new > > doc to see of the T is messing with my mind or if its really > > aggravated depression what ever that is. > > >
Guest guest
Hi, Yes you probably need a good doctor that knows what he is doing. Depression is the opposite of feeling great about yourself and the world. It is called a feeling of well being. Rage is not usually associated with TRT but some of the drugs used to build muscle mass in large doses, I think. ernestnolan > > > > > > i need to see a new doc but i also need to see a mental doc as > well > > > but i need to see the endo doc first. do you think i could talk > the > > > end doc in to seeing me in less than 3 months? i need to see > this new > > > doc to see of the T is messing with my mind or if its really > > > aggravated depression what ever that is. > > > > > >
