Date: 2008-06-11, 9:03PM My family is dependent on someone else for our financial well-being, and that person is not coming through with a commitment regarding my elderly dog. I stupidly sublet my apartment for the summer months counting on this person to take my dog to his country house, which he has done many times before. The landlady of the place I am going to for the summer does not allow dogs - besides my dog wouldn't even be able to walk up those front steps. My dog has got a few months to live, and I will have to have her put to sleep before she is ready because of this situation, and I can't even afford that. The thought of having to bring my dog to the shelter at her advanced age and in her state is unbearable. Does anyone know of low-cost euthanasia? Please e-mail me with recommendations.
