Guest guest
I have the Green Star, which is apparently the same as Green Life but the newer model. It has SS grinding augers. I guess that and the talk of infrared/magnets to keep the juice from deteriorating helped me buy it. I'm somewhat sorry when I read about the Samson/ Lex-something juicers that have an attachment available to make flaxseed oil. But they have a plastic type auger, I forget the exact material. I do find the cleaning a chore and don't use it as much as I should as a result. It is also a little difficult to feed things into it, as the 2 turning augurs have to grab hold, and the pulp must make its way through the grooves in the augers and little 1/2 " hole in the pulp outlet. Mine has a little plug in the pulp outlet that can be screwed in tighter to make less pulp go into the juice. But if you want more pulp you could just put some back in the juice. The Vitamix that will make juice by pulverizing the fruit or veggies and leaves the pulp in apparently has the disadvantage of causing enough heat in the process to damage the enzymes, which is what you are juicing for. The Green Star/Life is supposed to be the best for preserving them.
