I have no affiliation with this group, but thought it was GREAT information for

those of us fighting Cancer.

Grassrootshealth.net (a study group out of USCD San Diego medical center) thinks

that 75% of breast and colon cancer deaths can be eliminated through optimal

vitamin D levels of 40-60 mg/nl. There is also a big influence on other cancers

and other health conditions as well. However this is mostly through preventing

people from getting it in the first place, but good D levels also improve

survival rates of people with cancer.

They have one researcher who came up with a new cancer model, called DINOMIT,

which specifies that the first step in getting cancer is caused by low vitamin

D/Calcium levels. It is worth a view, and watching their videos.

They also offer vitamin D tests for $40 each, and they recommend testing every 6

months. You have to complete a questionare and participate in their study for

this however.

You need much more D than is currently recommended by the US government to

achieve these levels, unless you go to tanning salons, or live somewhere

tropical and get moderate amounts of sunscreen free sun. I take 6000 iu per

day, and know of others with cancer who take 10,000 iu per day.

Good luck, and Happy New Year!
