Guest guest
These are my thoughts on some of the discussion I've read on the board this evening. Nice to see so much activity and some new " faces " posting messages! It is of tremendous importance, if one wishes to live as healthfully as possible in the United States and in most western countries, to DROP OUT of the medical system as we know it, to cease being a " patient " and to re-enter the medical system again as a CLIENT. As a CLIENT viewing the total medical system---a system that includes ALL kinds of treatment, including mainstrem---one EDUCATES oneself the very BEST one can, on as many phases of treatment as one can, and then one views the system as a smorgasbord, or a buffet, and one CHOOSES those treatments/modalities one thinks will best serve one's purposes. Those who dismiss every kind of alternative treatment out-of-hand, such as Barrett(Quackwatch), are doing themselves a great disservice. Did you ever see Barrett's photograph? He does NOT look healthy. Has bad skin, watery eyes, rather ematiated-looking, etc. He is probably one of those people who's on 16 different, conflicting pharmaceutical drugs! But those who dismiss all mainstream treatment out-of-hand are also short-changing themselves. It is prudent and necessary, in my opinion, to stay abreast of EVERYTHING one can when it comes to the treatment of cancer, because there are and will continue to be treatments coming from the mainstream that, when coupled with a healthful, alternative lifestyle, can be of immense value. As for the discussion on black salve, I will trust that those who consider using it are responsible adults who will educate themselves in how to use it before applying it. I greatly appreciate 's prudence when she talks about black salve, in that she includes links to photos of people actually going through the treatment. Best wishes, Elliot 3:
