Comment to this....There is a Biotech Company that has

discovered a drug that cures Neuroblastas. They asked

the government for 3 million dollars to continue there

research and have clincal trials on human's.......well

of course, because the big Parma companies want all

the money and glory, the govenment turned them down.

They are now trying to get funding through donation's

from other companies and people.

Their drug totally cleared up Neuroblatomas in Mice in

a matter of months. I have the artical, it was in our

local newspaper. I will find it and try to get the

name of the company and try to find the link to the

company.

What Big Pharma will do, is continue to increase the use of 'older' drugs for

'off label' use making tons of profit from drugs already approved, having

already recouped any cost in developing them and with physicians comfortable

pushing them down our throats, in our arms, or up our.............!

I suppose what you are really saying Ann, is that this company 'claims' it has

something promising regarding this type of cancer and that the results with mice

are encouraging. We all know that what works in mice or in a laboratory might

not work in humans.

Yes, the problem with big Pharma is well known and we never know if there is

collusion or this company is being 'pushed' in the direction of some company

that will 'partner' with them to produce the trials and then share in the

profit.

Cure is a very strong word and one difficult to apply to cancer and after the

past 40 years of failure over The War On Cancer, it is not unusual for us to be

skeptical.
