Jim, I'm sorry to hear of your situation. My dad is on LDN and I find it

helps him a lot so it could be from not taking it anymore. Are you

having problems getting it from a doctor or is it just in short supply?

Where do you live? We're from the Toronto area in Canada and are

fortunate that we have a doctor who works WITH us rather than against us

and will prescribe LDN (or anything else that might work!). You can

email me directly at vkoledin @ torkinmanes.com. Wish you all the best.

I'm very worried because my symptoms have been getting worse over the

last few weeks. I posted my protocol awhile back, not to brag about a

complex protocol, but honestly asking for help. And I got some -- one

person noted that I should immediately cut out the synthetic folic acid.

The protocol is relatively standard -- LDN, Sutherlandia OPC, Artemix, IP6, and

a slew of vitamins. I've also been doing the Budwig FO/CC, although the Budwig

followers would say my taking the antioxidants in the vitamins will defeat this.

I have run out of LDN, and have had problems getting more - could this cause

symptoms to get bad quickly? And/or the stress of the holidays?

I'm not sure what to do at this point. I'm receiving SSI disability,

so I'm really broke, and cannot afford trips to Mexican clinics or to

Germany.

I get torn as to whether I should be doing straight Budwig and toss the

cytotoxic substances. But I don't feel secure with this, for several reasons.

First, I get some really weird effects from the FO/CC, indicating the

possibility of allergies to FO. Second, due to an illeostomy, I must take some

supplementation. And third, I wanted a more aggressive protocol than Budwig.

Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Get the book The Complete Cancer Cleanse

You can often find it free at paperbackswap http://tinyurl.com/yrq5xj

Or also at your library or on amazon very cheaply.

I would buy a colon cleanse product.(there is one at gnc, also same one sold at

walmart-it just says Colon Cleanse on the bottle-capsules and I mention these

because they do work, and they are not high, and they are readily available as

in go today and get some)

Apple cider vinegar and also some organic lemons and green tea (yogi teas makes

a green tea with kombucha that tastes great and my Kroger has it for $3.19 a

box- that with half a squeezed lemon is great but I would also take a multi with

zinc too, since too much copper can be retained from the green tea) If you are

doing much green tea.

I would get copper free vits or at least make sure you ingest way more zinc than

copper. Or really it it wise to do that even if you are not doing much grn tea.

Watch the iron or eliminate it.

I would get digestive enzymes, like betaine, take coconut oil (organic extra

virgin for ingesting daily, just plain organic for cooking with) daily, take the

dig enzymes and/or acidophilus at every meal. I would take milk thistle (the

kind with tumeric in it from vitacost is good It is not high in price). Add

tumeric to food when possible. Take that milk thistle twice daily for about 10

days.

Then, do a parasite cleanse, a colon cleanse and a liver/gall bladder cleanse

from that book above.

I too take FOCC and try to get sunlight and/or Vit D3 daily. Do the milk

thistle, not continually but at least a bottle every few months or so.

I am a 3 yr bc survivor and I did/ do the above. Eat salads daily with brocolli

and other great veggies and herbs, like onions, parsley, cilantro(this aids in

heavy metal detox) garlic, tomatoes. Use extra virgin olive oil, apple cider

vinegar, and lemon juice - fresh squeezed organic lemons, on the salad each day.

Eat lots of blueberries and raspberries. Drink POM juice. There is a great site

www.earthclinic.com

Someone on there even posted of being healed from cancer by eating nothing but

tons of garlic for 24 hrs! I thought well what did he have to lose? You can

learn a lot about detox online. But the book I mentioned is very trustworthy.

And a great place to start.

Also Beating Cancer with Nutrition is another good book.

Another great site is this one - LISTEN TO THESE BROADCASTS

http://www.annlouise.com/resources/podcasts/nutrition-with-a-mission-podcasts.ht\

ml

She is a nutritionist and this site has great podcasts to listen to on your

computer or mp3. Scroll down to the one that says What I Would Do If I Had

Cancer. Also, listen to the one she has about Copper overload. I think it says,

Are you a Copperhead, or something like that?

HTH

God Bless and you are in our prayers.

GREAT site I found---get 2 books free when you join and list 10 !

Whoops -- please excuse the previous misfire.

What I meant to do in my reply was to ask about the milk thistle. I

have been taking it non-stop for about 4 months. Is this ineffective?

Do you have to " pulse " milk thistle -- on and off -- to get the full

effect?

Jim,

Can you be more specific about the symptoms that are getting worse?

Hello Jim,

It's prudent to rest from any herb that you use every six weeks or

so. Herbs are complex substances and taking a week off once in

awhile helps detox pathways to " catch up " .

Pain in the lower abdomen area radiating from the spine around to the

hip bones. Sort of a cramping feeling in the entire intestinal area.

I did tweak my lower back just before Christmas putting a 100+ lb

tree on top of a car, and I am hoping that is all it is.

Hello jrrjim,

Have you had these same symptoms in the past?

Thank you very much for your response -- I am looking into everything

you mentioned.

You and I have something in common. You are a 3 year BC survivor. I am

a 4 year Alberta survivor. :)

Hello jrrjim,

If you can link it temporally with the tree attacking you, I'd say it

sounds like a psoas syndrome.
