Guest guest
I have made a very exciting dicovery using large amounts of barely cooked garlic chunks in spaghetti sauce or in blackeyed peas with brown rice. I dont know if it is the type of garlic but I was very sick and I usually dont get well until Ive had antibiotics. I have never used garlic in large amounts but my daughter said I should and she is the Holistic Guru in the family and the next morning I woke up with clear lungs and throat. Cant beleave it. So that means it boosted my immune system that quickly. I am going to incorporate it into my food every day. Did not bother my stomach. If it did I was so sick I didnt notice it. Guest guest
Yes, garlic is well known for its healing powers. There should be threads on here with people discussing it as relates to cancer healing. But blackeyed peas sound yummy - I usually have mine with fresh onion. I'm going to soak some tonight to cook tomorrow and add garlic - thanks! > > I have made a very exciting dicovery using large amounts of barely cooked garlic chunks in spaghetti sauce or in blackeyed peas with brown rice. Guest guest
, You misunderstood, garlic does NOT remove Mercury, it can't. Garlic is a one thiol substance, it takes a two thiol substance to remove Mercury. And it has to be given according to it's half life or it will redistribute Mercury. Depending on cysteine status, garlic can make things worse for those who are high cysteine. Garlic or any monothiol substance does make Mercury bounce around in the body faster, but it does NOT remove it. You can find lots of mercury toxic, ill informed drs who say that garlic removes mercury. [ ] Garlic , thanks for your post about garlic moving mercury. I had never heard this before. We started using it about 3 weeks ago to treat gut bacteria and yeast (sensitivities were done on a stool test). I haven't really noticed any changes in my child, but certainly don't want to cause more harm. Are there old posts about this, or do you know of any other places where I could find more info? Thanks
Guest guest
Depending on cysteine status (about half of mercury toxic people are high, half low) garlic can be a good thing or not a good thing. If you use garlic and it doesn't cause any problems, continue to use it. I said garlic " can " be a problem, not that it is. I get the same pulling or other sensation in my head when I eat chocolate but try as I might I can't find any evidence that it chelates mercury...oh I wish. [ ] Re: Garlic this was news to me too, we have ALWAYS used garlic in our house, for stomach cramps, problems, yeast flares etc, never actually noticed anything negative whilst using it i must say, but must err on the side of caution, shame though, I must have the only 12 year old who loves to eat raw garlic!! emma > > , thanks for your post about garlic moving mercury. Guest guest
In agreement. If well tolerated, Garlic is very, very good, helping the immune system, providing bio-selenium, and controlling for parasites/yeasts. Do not stop having it, especially if you like it, which is another way of your body of expressing need. > > > > , thanks for your post about garlic moving mercury. I had never heard this before. Guest guest
No, I did not misunderstand, BUT was concerned about garlic MOVING metals and causing redistribution. Again, something we absolutely don't want to happen here. We have not seen any negative reactions from it so far, so I guess will continue the course for now. Thanks for your help. > > , > > You misunderstood, garlic does NOT remove Mercury, it can't. Garlic is a one thiol substance, it takes a two thiol substance to remove Mercury.
