GEMZAR therapy seems to a newer therapy and has

basically the same sides as hep c treatment .

And I have gone to every known physicians sites to see if there is any case

study done on treating both at the same time and I keep coming up empty ....:(

Consult your hepatologist he can probably help you more right now than I can ..sorry

Thank you, , you give me hope.

Dear Nicki,

I

had chemo when I had lung cancer back in 1993 and the gal in the bed next to me

@ the hospital had adrenal gland cancer.

She was given interferon along with the chemo that she was taking and tolerated

both well.

My

experience with chemo (experimental and 5 different drugs-7 day infusion) was

difficult. I lost all my hair

all over my body, had to be hospitalized because my immune system was shot. blood counts were low so they isolated me. I had to wear a mask to protect myself from other

people, was throwing up blood and bile, had severe thrush, lost

weight (down to 87lbs), had aditory problems, memory problems, and basically

felt like crap. I went thru 3 rounds

of this, not liking any of the side effects but the outcome was spectacular. I survived.

If

you go thru this your oncologist will make sure that you can handle what they

dish out.

All

my best to you. My thoughts and

prayers are with you.

Hi Nikki,

What lousy news for you to have to contemplate - I am going to hope that they

are wrong

first off and keep you in my prayers. That said, I did know one person

diagnosed with

breast cancer and also hep c positive. They were able to undergo the chemo with

no

problems regarding the hep - but it was important to include a hepatologist as a

part of

the treatment team. And she is doing well in all arenas today! No fun - but

there are

some great new breakthroughs in treating breast cancer today.

Please keep us informed - and do something really good for yourself while you

wait.

When I was diagnosed with melanoma about 6 years ago now - I remember how

important

surrounding myself with people that could make me laugh was while waiting for

results of

lymph node tests, biopsies, etc... it is amazing what laughter can do for our

healing spirit.

Nikki,

The drugs that I was given were:

cisplatin, 5FU, methotrexate, navelbine, and leucovorin, pre surgergery. Post surgery I was given accutane for 3 months. As with breast cancer, lung cancer can spread easily so this experimental therapy @ that time was designed to cover all the bases. I was diognosed @ stage 4 inoperable with a 2% survival rate. The main tumor was on the pulmonary artery with a satalite (small) in the liver. The first oncologist told me to get my affairs in order, so I fired him. I had a friend who was a doc and he recommended a oncoligist who did experimental studies so I signed up for that. The chemo melted away the tumors and when it was safe enough they preformed a left lung upper lobectomy. The reason that I am going into detail about this is to let you know that you have many options. You don't have to face this with fear. Please be aggressive with your testing ( bone scans, MRI's ect.) The sooner you know the better. And if you have to go thru some of this than please take the bull by the horns! And remember, any doctor is someone that you employ, not the other way around.

Hi Jackie,

I got my appointment for UTMB on the 21st. I have been studying the UT protocol for

cancer and I may use it, depending on what I hear.

But, if there is cancer in the breast I want it cut off, no if’s, ands or

butts! And if they want to do chemo, then I will. They know so much more about breast cancer

these days. I just want to

live. Will let you know what’s

up when I get back from Galveston.

Nikki

Oh Nikki,

I pray and hope it is not a reoccurrance,, please let us know,, what about

UT, isnt that supposed to be good for cancer?

WoW! You really went through it! I am so

glad that you did so well! I am sure hoping that I can get along well with the

Nikki honey, you've sure got your hands full to overflowing haven't you? Please don't ever feel you have to apologise for being absent here. Life has a way of jumping up and slapping us upside the head quite regularly.

Do you have friends and relatives closeby that you can lean on through this difficult time? Gosh, you've got hubby's health to deal with as well as your own? Please try to keep as well rested won't you? And don't be too proud to accept any help offers that may come your way.

You know we're here for you always.

Robyn,

I don't know if this search page will come up for you:

http://utah.citysearch.com/yellowpages/directory/Utah/180/354/page1.html?gcats=1\

I googled alternative medicine Utah and this citysearch page came up.

There are quite a few listed. However, I do not know anything about

them.

(NaturalNews) LFO singer-songwriter Rich

Cronin, creator of the smash hit " Summer Girls, " died after receiving

chemotherapy as a " treatment " for leukemia. He was 35.

Yes, 35.

He was first diagnosed with leukemia in 2005 and underwent

chemotherapy. Not surprisingly, the cancer returned in 2007 because

chemotherapy doesn't cure cancer.

The most common side effect of chemotherapy is, in fact, more cancer. This is

exactly what happened with Rich Cronin who suffered through a return of the

disease in 2007 and 2008.

Chemotherapy is also extremely toxic to the liver, kidneys and brain. People who

undergo chemotherapy often suffer so-called " chemo brain " -- a significant

decline in mental function affecting memory and even personality.

Chemotherapy keeps killing celebrities. Sadly, Rich Cronin joins a long list of

other celebrities who have died after choosing to poison themselves with toxic

chemotherapy.

Swayze died after receiving chemotherapy for pancreatic cancer

(http://www.naturalnews.com/027047_c...);

Farrah Fawcett died after chemotherapy for anal cancer

(http://www.naturalnews.com/026511_c...);

Jennings died after chemotherapy treatments for lung cancer;

Tony Snow died after chemotherapy treatments for colon cancer

Just recently, actor announced he has stage 4 throat cancer and

would begin treating it with toxic chemotherapy and radiation

(http://www.naturalnews.com/029685_M...). I hope he has the wisdom to use

nutrition and superfoods to protect his healthy cells from the toxic effects of

chemotherapy, or he too might find himself in a rapid health decline.

Celebrities who choose holistic, nutritional approaches to health have far

better outcomes, by the way. Suzanne Somers famously overcame her own breast

cancer by turning to natural remedies and a holistic lifestyle

Also recently, Drew Carey cured his own diabetes by changing his diet and

working out at the gym.

What is chemotherapy?Chemotherapy involves the injection of toxic poisons into

the human body. The term " therapy " in " chemotherapy " is actually a form of false

advertising -- there's nothing therapeutic about it.

The chemicals used in chemotherapy are derived from mustard gas chemical weapons

used in World War I. They are so incredibly toxic to the human body that

pharmacists are getting cancer just from touching the chemotherapy drugs

Chemotherapy is fraudulently marketed as a " cure "

for cancer even though it cures nothing. In fact, chemotherapy

compromises the future functioning of the human body, practically

guaranteeing more medical expenses from liver damage, kidney damage or

recurring cancer " treatments. "

Inside the holistic health community, cancer is relatively easy to cure but only

if the patient has never done chemotherapy. I personally know several

anti-cancer doctors, Chinese medicine practitioners and naturopaths. Some of

them have told me flat out, " I won't treat patients

who have already undergone chemotherapy. " When I ask why, they tell me,

" Because they always die. And when they die, their families blame the

last therapy they received even though the chemo is what killed them. "

It's common for patients to undergo chemotherapy and then, right at the brink of

death, they finally realize conventional medicine is killing them and they reach

out to alternative medicine. But by then it's too late. The damage has already

been done by chemotherapy. They are beyond repair.

Choosing chemotherapy is a death sentence. And sadly, far too many celebrities

are choosing chemotherapy because they are being lied to by their doctors and

oncologists -- people who earn profits

from chemotherapy " treatments. " Cancer docs refuse to tell their

patients the truth about anti-cancer nutrients that are readily (and

cheaply) available. From vitamin D to exotic medicinal mushrooms,

genuine cancer cures exist all around us in nature. But conventional

medicine refuses to recognize them as real.

It's sad that we're losing so many creative people these days; people who are

victimized by the cancer industry

and tricked into killing themselves with chemicals. Rich Cronin didn't

deserve to die, and especially not enduring the kind of suffering

caused by chemotherapy chemicals which cause you to vomit up your

meals, drop your hair, suffer extreme weakness and lose muscle mass.

It's a demeaning and medically useless way to die.

If such

treatments were used on prisoners of war, they would be considered

inhumane and in violation of the Geneva Convention. And yet, for some

reason, one celebrity after another keeps choosing toxic chemotherapy,

only to follow in the footsteps of others who suffered and died before

them.

When will people learn?

Celebrity status, it turns

out, confers no special health knowledge to a person. The world's most

famous person can be just as clueless about health as any ordinary guy

on the street. Real health isn't taught in public schools, and most of

the health propaganda

broadcast by authorities in America is based on false and misleading

information designed to financially support the pharmaceutical industry.

Rich

Cronin was more a victim of the cancer industry's false propaganda than

cancer itself. He no doubt could have been saved if he had known about

anti-cancer herbs, superfoods and nutritional supplements. But that

information was not given to him by anyone in the medical profession.

And that is no coincidence.

They would rather see people die

than lose control of their cancer industry profits, it seems. The last

thing cancer doctors want to do is put themselves out of business by

teaching people how to prevent cancer on their own.

The

knowledge presented right here on NaturalNews.com could prevent 9 out

of 10 cancers if fully embraced. That translates into a reduction of 90

percent of all cancer industry jobs. No wonder they don't want the

public learning the truth about how easy it is to prevent and even cure

cancer using natural medicine.

In the cancer industry, job security depends on keeping the public (and

celebrities) as ignorant as possible about nutrition and natural ways to prevent

or cure cancer.
