Guest guest
A talk show this morning touched on the subject of what they called " Alternative " cancer treatments. Wish I could remember the exact name of that show... I THINK it's called the M & J show? Kudos to them for frequently touching on important issues. Not much to say about this particular segment tho, sadly. For one thing, it is only an hour show I think... maybe half an hour. Naturally, they could make an entire show out of alternative cancer treatments alone. This particular segment featured A young man who used some form of alternative cancer therapy in addition to 5 sessions of chemo to cure his cancer. They also featured an angry woman who's mother died in a Mexican cancer clinic. She felt the clinic was a fake. The clinic's only treatment was a series of tests of the toxins in the mother's house. The clinic declaired the mother " cured " after a while, but in fact her tumor had doubled in size. She later died. Also featured was the MD who runs " Quackwatch " . His main comment was there was no real telling what cured the boy. He said it might have been the alternate treatments...or it could have been the chemo. The young fellow said chemo didn't slow down his tumor.
