Guest guest
Hello Elaine, I find that most who come across as negative about alternative treatments don't know anything they are talking about. Dr. Barrett who writes the Quackwatch report is reported to be not all what he is in the first place. I have read numerous reports about him and he has even mentioned Naltrexone on one report.. which is falicious and dead wrong. http://www.quackpotwatch.org/quackpots/quackpots/barrett.htm I wouldn't be here now typing this if it weren't for Low dose Naltrexone and many others as well. For me, Alternative is the best and only way to go.. chemotherapy does nothing for 96% of cancers: http://curezone.com/diseases/cancer/chemo_therapy_facts.asp Take control and don't listen to these doctors who have you under their arm under it is too late for you to take control. http://www.cancertutor.com/WarBetween.html These links have guided me so much and proved to me there is " honest help " but not with the oncologists or so called " Quackwatch " if you follow the money you will find who he is connected with.... Guest guest
I believe you're referring to the " Morning Show with Mike and t " on Fox, known as " The M & J Show " for short. You should able to find additional info. on the show and particular segments at Fox.com. RB, Big fan of " J " Posted by: " Elaine Gallant " elainegallant@... elainegallant Date: Mon Oct 8, 2007 5:34 pm ((PDT)) A talk show this morning touched on the subject of what they called " Alternative " cancer treatments. Wish I could remember the exact name of that show... I THINK it's called the M & J show? Kudos to them for frequently touching on important issues. Not much to say about this particular segment tho, sadly. For one thing, it is only an hour show I think... maybe half an hour. Naturally, they could make an entire show out of alternative cancer treatments alone. This particular segment featured A young man who used some form of alternative cancer therapy in addition to 5 sessions of chemo to cure his cancer. They also featured an angry woman who's mother died in a Mexican cancer clinic. She felt the clinic was a fake. The clinic's only treatment was a series of tests of the toxins in the mother's house. The clinic declaired the mother " cured " after a while, but in fact her tumor had doubled in size. She later died. Also featured was the MD who runs " Quackwatch " . His main comment was there was no real telling what cured the boy. He said it might have been the alternate treatments...or it could have been the chemo. The young fellow said chemo didn't slow down his tumor.

Yes, I have found this to be true as well. Additionally, conventional medicine bundles ALL alternative methods together. They don't differentiate between effective treatments and superstition.
