Guest guest
I just read Armstrong's book about six weeks ago. From what I read, he relied pretty much on chemotherapy. His diet wasn't all that great, eating Mexican food, etc. From what I could tell, there wasn't a lot of alternative stuff. He didn't spell it out so maybe he is hiding it? I don't know. Guest guest
My husband's oncologist said that the chemo Lance chose was a more difficult one, and he had to be hospitalized for it. It was not outpatient. But that he chose it because there was less of a risk of lung issues, and since he is an athlete, it was the best choice for him. If you believe some of the alternative resources (like Dr. Schultze) Hollywood and sports is filled with people doing herbs, vitamins, alternative things.....it's like they are all hiding it. it's a shame. I don't know if they don't if they are scared people might think they are crazy, or just don't want to give away their secrets. I know it sounds a bit gross, but I LOVED that at the height of his career, Usher allowed them to broadcast him having an enema on a show I saw. I think it would be great if more people in the spotlight talked about health and shared what they do and why. But I guess watching celebrities drug and drink their way down the drain is more profitable. pity. .....winnchimes ________________________________ From: Dorr <dorrnancy@...> Sent: Sunday, January 11, 2009 1:56:47 AM Subject: Re: [ ] LANCE ARMSTRONG DID SOMETHING , BUT WHAT? Guest guest
My husband had 12 professional playing years in Baseball and I can tell you having lived in that world that alternative medicine is used there. In fact, that is why I am still here today. Someone in baseball had the guts to tell me about this for the brain tumor, my daughter's lymphoma (Mexican clinics), my husband's blood clots as an athlete etc. Had it not been for professional Baseball, I would not be a holistic nutritionist etc. Nobody keeps it hidden in that world. It was God's way to direct us to the land of the living......and no, we never made millions like everyone thinks. It opened the doors to this though, that is way more valuable.
