Guest guest
, I've been a bit distracted lately and I totally forgot to mention to you something that will truly help your system. I had estrogen driven cancer. My naturopath and I have been working at discovering what the heck is going on in my body that the hormones became so unbalanced. For a quick background on me - I have been a raw food vegetarian since 2001. I never, ever ate soy. My diet now has a lot more cooked food in it for various reasons. I never smoked. I have never any alcohol. I am so not someone who is supposed to develop breast cancer. Anyway, I discovered that I have adrenal fatigue. This can cause estrogen dominance. I never had fibrocystic breasts, but my thermograms clearly indicate that the tissue is holding too much estrogen. You really should scrounge up some money for a thermogram. It can help you track this. So, first, the flaxseed diet (Budwig) should be good at helping get that extra estrogen out of your breasts. But, I have become totally dependent on Calcium D-Glucarate. Do some googling and you will be amazed. MD is currently in some sort of trial or research, or something with it. Basically, this stuff gets the extra estrogen out of your body. I take the maximum dose daily. I order it online and it costs me approximately $38 a month. That sounds like a lot. But, let me tell you what I discovered. On two occasions, I have gone off the D-Glucarate. The last time was for three months. I've lost my job and I'm afraid I won't be employed for a very long time. So, I was trying to save some money. While on the calcium D-Glucarate, my periods are right on time, every month, without trouble. Minimum discomfort. However, if I miss a day or two of D-Glucarate, my periods stop. And when they do come, they are painful and lay me out on the couch for two days. So, it's doing something. I won't go off the pills again. Due to my unemployment, I went off the pills and didn't have a period for almost 4 months. So, no matter what you decide, you need to do something. If a mammo isn't the right thing for you, then you need to do thermography - NO MATTER THE COST. You are at very high risk for developing breast cancer. Please don't just sit it out, so to speak. Now, if only I could get over my fear of NOT having a mammo...In a perfect world, I would never have another one. Also, because of your high risk, you are a candidate for tamoxifen as a preventative. I refused to take tamoxifen because the list of side effects were horrendous and I react poorly to medications, anyways. Okay, please keep me informed on what you decide. I am behind your decisions 100%. And I'm glad you are asking so many questions. It's good to get different opinions in order to help you decide what is right for you. ar
