Guest guest
Dear Pam I am returned from China. Did not post about it the trip yet. The Hyperthernia went well. Unfortunately I was unable to convince the doctor in charge to give me intravenous Vitamic C along with the Hyperthermia. The doctor was willing to work with us on adding Vitamin C or other therapies but for this we would need to have a proffesional like Vince with us to help get the applications to the Chinese equivalent of the FDA to run a limited clinical trial. That would be the start of a fairly long process, but it could be done. The hyperthermia treatment focused on a small area of the lower spine. This area was heated to 46C. The rest of my body was cooled by circulating chilled water, so the whole treatment was quiet comfortable compared to whole body Hyperthermia. I had 8 treatments in all before I had to leave. By the last treatment there was signifigant improval in pain level. The course of treatment was scheduled for 20 treatments on 10 treatment sessions spaced two days apart. I had to cut my trip short because the physical demands of my job (I trouble shoot Oil Rigs) became too much to handle. I have changed my current work project to one with less physical stress. Otherwise I would have completed the full course. So, for anyone considering deep focused hyperthermia as an adjunct to cancer treatmet this is certainly an option. But...you cannot do it alone. " Medical Tourism " is not organised in China. You would need the services of a support team. Even then, unless you are a seasoned traveller, used to third world conditions, you will be in for a big " culture shock " . So..the good news is that deep focused Hyperthermia works. The bad news is that it is not available in the USA, or Mexico so you would have to travel Switzerland, Holland or China to get it. Dan pams4699 <pams4699@...> wrote: Just wondering if anyone has heard from " Dan " . Last I read from him was when he was in China and going through Hyperthermia. Apparently they had just received a BSD 2000. I remember him having a few treatments left but was wondering how he was making out......Has anyone heard? Guest guest
Heh Dan Happy to hear you are back from China and all is well. Sounds like you are pleased for what Hyperthermia had to offer you. I do remember you talking about trying to have the docs over there work with you with the Int. vit C. You do feel it would more effective with the compliment of vit C? I had looked into Hyperthermia ....the docs at Valley Cancer Institute have said they can help me, plus I have talked with some facility in Germany that have said the same. I just have many questions......mainly being the fact I have a few nodules in my lungs and am slowly coming to the understanding that the lungs, in particular, are very difcult to treat, for a few reasons. I feel the facilities that have said they can help, are going out on a limb with that statement...I don't believe it would do harm but I question if there is any real opportunity for me with that type of hyperthermia that they offer. In doing all my research on Hyperthermia your name kept coming into mind....wondering how you were fairing?.....Happy for you that you are doing well. Stay well....Pam
Guest guest
By co-incidence my company has a project in China in the same city where the Hyperthermia machine is located. I will go back maybe later this year. Dan szukipoo@... wrote: In a message dated 4/24/08 9:40:05 AM Eastern Daylight Time, capt_merrill So..the good news is that deep focused Hyperthermia works. Guest guest
Yes, Many Japanese are coming to China these days for all kinds of treatments. The price of treatment in china can be as much as 80% less than Japan. Dan Kaye Robin <robinji2002@...> wrote: Hyperthermia treatment is available in Japan but it is very expensive. Guest guest
Here is a machine made in Hungary which uses both diathermy and Rife frequencies to treat cancer. It is banned, of course, in the U.S. > > Hyperthermia treatment is available in Japan but it is > very expensive. > > Robin in Japan >
