One of them is run by Dom and this is his website. http://users.chariot.net.au/~dna/kefirpage.html There is a wealth of information on it but I do find it a bit overwhelming. However if you scroll down on the first page it says you can use non-fat milk so that might be useful. I used to belong to one of the lists and people often offer to send grains just for the price of the postage but personally I think it is better to buy them. You only have to do it once and I've never had any problem making my kefir.
