Guest guest
Hello, I have a website called http://www.denguecure.com and the problem with dengue fever is always how to keep the blood platelet up. We are very successful in doing this in the Philippines. This might help you. Regards, Edwin moderator wrote: [Group, the message below was approved but didn't appear on the list, so I'm posting it now. -Moderator] Hi all, My son (13 yrs) has Brain cancer, he finished 30 rounds of radiation, and doctors gave him chemos(CEENU- 120 mg single dose on 1 day only, plus Temodal 215 mg per day, for 5 days) which dropped platelets too low (32). They want to keep his platelets above 50, so at the moment he needs platelet transfusion twice per week (since last Feb 08). Can anyone please advise me what can I do to help my son. Thank you so much. Best regards, Lee ngoclee @ gmail.com

Subject: [ ] Re: Having a hard time Date: November 6, 2007 12:58:14 PM PST Reply- You said the doctors are now stopping the chemo because his blood count is too low? Is this his blood platelet count? If so I've heard other members recommend liquid chlorophyll. I can't speak from experience, but maybe someone can chime in more about this. Below I've cut and pasted from previous posts about liquid chlorophyll. I just thought I'd share a triumph...my Aunt is going through Chemotherapy and she has been having to get blood transfusions because her platelet count was too low. Last week it was at 27 then went down to 22. So today she went in to have it checked and get blood...but I finally got her to try liquid chlorophyll. She drank about half a bottle of it yesterday and her platelet count had gone up to over 100!! as well as her other numbers increased as well. No blood for her!! I hope this information will help someone else going through similiar issues in their family. It is said to be a blood transfusion in a bottle. Absolutely amazing stuff. It is nearly identical in chemical composition to blood except for the center molecule. In blood it is an iron molecule but in chlorophyll it is a magnesium molecule. Some have said that it converts to iron in the blood I use chlorophyll all the time with cancer patients and others to detoxify them as it clears the blood. I am so glad to read the testimony on avoiding more blood transfusions!
Guest guest
I am so sorry to hear about yr son. Pls also look to alternative medicine too. You can try my ways of increasing platelets. My husband has liver cancer- he is alive and ok with his cancer. 1july 2008 is his fifth years of survival 1) Shark liver oil 3-4 caps a day 2) Boil Mung Beans with 5-6 slices of ginger Soak a handful of green Mung Beans in warm water for 4 hrs or overnight. Boil slowly with lid half closed with ginger till tender-it may take 45mins to one hr.He can drink only the liquid if he does not like the beans. Green pigment and chlorophyl in mung beans increase platelets fast. Put a spoonful of honey in it if he likes. 3) Drink juice of carrots freshly made -not in bottle at least 5 carrots a day 4) Eat 3 egg white- steam it every day 5) Make a soup broth from chicken bones with celerly, chopped onions, carrots, spring onion, cabbage, tomatoes, potatoes, spices. Slow boil it for 2-hrs season with sea salt Drink as much as he can. These usually tripple the platelets count within only 2-3 days Pls try to do all above- different fellow patients we have suggested report very good result. Pls accept all my heartfelt concern for you and yr family. It is a tough time but you will get through. Bye Chantana Bkk
Guest guest
Thank you very much for the information of liquid chlorophyll . Yes, the doctors are now stopping the chemos, and waiting until my son's platelets go up (red and white counts of my son are still OK). Is Budwig protocol good for my son?. Thanks for your help! Guest guest
Sesame Seed Oil Perles from Standard Process will raise platelets. Their Chlorphyll Complex will help too. jp > Thank you very much for the information of liquid chlorophyll . Guest guest
My daughters Nutritionist (Jeanne Wallace) recently (3/08') recommended Tahini for low platelet count, although my daughter is out of treatment since 6/06. Guest guest
Dear Chantana, thank you so much for your advice. Following your guide, today I've gathered all things, and started to give my son Shark Liver Oil. I've bought " Deep Sea Shark Liver Oil 1000mg " (Nutra-Life brand - we live in Sydney - Australia), and gave him 2caps, ie 2000mg(I read the label, its recommended adult dosage is 1 cap per day)(your advice is 3-4 caps but not in mg). From your experience, how many mgs should I give him daily - and for how long?. All the best to you, your husband and your family. Love from Lee. Guest guest
Dear Lee I was away -sorry for the belated reply. My shark liver oil is only 500mg. I have given 3-4(500mg) per day. I am sure he will have better blood work.People who are treated with radiation are weak so you must make sure the food you are giving is easy to digest like soup or soft boil rice or oats. You can mail me any time even not on the forum.I am glad you are in australia where you can find good supplement and vitamins. Can he eat? He will be sick for a while- I do hope you find courage to seek alternative meds that can go along with your treatment. Do not let the doctors use too much radiation-it is hatmful and the brain is not what we can easily fixed. Try to get a book by Hulda on advaced cancer-if you open yr mind-there are still many things a mother can do to help. my heart goes out to you . we will pray for your son to get well soon. Pls find time to report back Best regards Chantana
