TOLD ME WAS THAT ENBREL WILL MAKE A KNOT AT THE

INJECTION SITE IF IT IS NOT INJECTED SLOWLY AND IT

NEEDS TO BE AT ROOM TEMPETURE. HOPE THIS HELPS. GOOD

The injection is subcutaneous which means under the skin. This happens to

me occasionally. A couple of times I even thought I heard a audible pop

when the lump ( it's not a bubble, it's the Enbrel solution) formed. I

think it is because I inject in my legs and am very thin. Since there is

little fat under my skin it forms a bump there, between the skin and muscle,

until the liquid is absorbed, usually by the next morning.

It sounds to me like you may not be injecting deep enough. I do feel

a small lump when I inject but it does not usually show through my

skin. I try to pick a site with alot of subcutaneous fat so that it

doesn't hurt as much. It might be a good idea to check with your

doctor's office and have them watch you give yourself a shot again to

see if there is anything that they can suggest to make this easier.

If it makes you feel any better, I am a nurse and I was very

squeamish about giving myself a shot but it has gotten much easier.

Good luck!
