Methotrexate and Tastebuds

My husband just started on MTX again. He also takes Arava, Prednisone, and

Diclofinac (sp). When he was on MTX before, I noticed he commented (complained)

a lot about things tasting funny. When he switched to Arava, that stopped. Now

he is taking MTX through injections, and the comments (complaining) has started

again. Last night he said his supper tasted spoiled. It was the exact same

thing the rest of us were eating, and it was all fresh. Any thoughts?

He also has changes in other ways. He used to love amusement parks and roller

coasters. Now he is almost afraid of them. Very unlike him. The first time he

got off the Incredible Hulk at Islands of Adventure, he wasn't even shaking. I

couldn't even watch it and it made me sick to my stomach. He seems almost

paranoid now. Anyone else experience anything like this? I think it might be

the Prednisone. I know it makes me crazy.
