Guest guest Posted December 18, 2002 Report Share Posted December 18, 2002 Have been given an urgent appointment to see my pain specialist on Friday (today is Wednesday) at a major Brisbane city hospital. Another 100 kilometre trip but again, a good friend in my retirement village is driving me down. His secretary said to bring a bag in case he hospitalizes me. Do not know what will be done, but in the past once had morphine/ketamine infusion 24 hours a day for seven days. I hope he comes up with something else because who wants to spend Christmas in hospital. Meanwhile, continue the Oxycontin every twelve hours, even though not fully effective.
