Guest guest
Hi gang, I'm very happy today, because yesterday I had a rheumy appointment and he decided to start me on either Enbrel or Remicade. I found out this a.m. that my insurance covers both, at 100%, but of course it needs to be pre-approved because of the high cost. After I get some x-rays, I will be seeing my rheumy again and then we will decide on which one we want to go with and start the pre-approval process. I'm thrilled. I have been in so much pain lately, especially with the hands, and I just want to see if this will be the godsend for me that it has been for so many others. Guest guest
Great news, Jill! Hope we'll soon be hearing you don't have flatback either. Good news for me! I joined this group a couple of weeks ago because I thought I had broken rods and the beginnings of Flatback. At least one of those possibilities was ruled out today--no broken hardware! My back even feels better. However, I will taking my x-rays to a surgeon this summer for a full analysis. Something is still not right, i think. But for now, I'm going back to the gym, lose 20 pounds and try to strengthen myself in the hopes that I can avert any more trouble. I'll be lurking, but maybe not posting as much. thanks to all who have replied with good info and encouragement. I wish the best for all of you!
