I understand your reluctance to take MTX. Are you taking oral med or

injectible? Sorry, I am new to the group, so I don't know your

history. I too was a little scared of all the warnings, but the only

side effect I had was a little nausea and some slight fatigue on the

day after. I took oral meds first, then went to injectable. I think

most any drug that is strong enough to effect psoriasis or pa has to

be strong since the illness itself is so powerful and so tough to

control. I wish you all the best on mtx...I hope it is your miracle

drug, as it is for so many. God bless. Wishing you pain free days

ahead.

this IS a big step. When I took MTX for the first time, I left a

post-it on my PC at work with the name of the med and my rheumy's

phone number, " just in case " . I am not usually a drama queen, so

looking back on it now I am totally embarrassed, but I WAS scared at

the time! Hope MTX works well for you as it has for so many others.

Congrats Sharon!

I hope the MTX works as well for you as it has for me!

Drugs can be scary, especially when you don't know much about them.

But, unfortunately they seem necessary to combat this disease.

Stay Well,

Hi ! I am on 7.5 mg of methotrexate and Saturday night was

my first dose. I didn't even have ANY nausea and yesterday I felt

fine! I did have just a little tiredness...but I am tire all the

time anyway. LOL. Thanks for the encouragement!
