Guest guest
Hi! It's me again. Two days ago I came home with increasing tremendous pain that was horrendous whenever I moved. All the joints seemed to hurt. I was about to take MTX 15 mg the next day (and did) so that encouraged me. I also plan to get my remicade day after tomorrow, on Monday. I hope it too helps. So back to Thursday. I was in tremendous pain, shoulders hurt, knees hurt, front and back of lower legs toward the knees hurt. Another new hurt was pain in the left flank, you know, on the back by the kidney. I figured it was new joint pain where the rib attaches to the spinal column. It's a joint connection, it can hurt. Anyway, I didn't go into work at the usual time early on Friday, too much pain when I breathed, especially left flank pain when I inhaled. The pain of movement was still there also. On Thursday night and on Friday I also took Tylenol #3 for the pain. Overall I took about 4 or 5 from Thursday night to Friday night when I went to bed. I also took the MTX as scheduled on Friday night, 15 mg. I also take leucovorin 12 hours after the mtx. The left flank pain is so great I cannot sleep. So I am writing on this message board in hopes of some encouragement. I took my temperature because I thought maybe I was having some other kind of kidney pain. But my temp only read 97.6 so that is good, I think. I'm seriously considering a trip to the ER but don't want to go for nothing. I will probably call my rheumy to see what he thinks as it turns into morning. I did go into work yesterday from 3 to 5 pm. We have a group that I really didn't want to miss and that turned out to be the least painfulness of the day. I wanted to look up left flank pain in the archives here but I don't know how to access them. I printed out the paragraph that said You will find the list archives by returning to www./groups and signing in for . From there, you will find it simple to click your way to easy access of this treasure trove. " but I still can't figure it out. Will you help me?
