Guest guest
Hi and Happy New Year. I have just caught up on all the emails. Christmas was of course chaotic and exhausting. We finished decorating the tree on Christmas morning before our guests arrived! Trying not to overdo : ) I had the same problem with mtx with preservatives going missing from the pharmacy. The pharmacy only had the presevative-free type. My rheumy said that he would prefer I use the form without preservatives anyway, that he had written the original prescription for the preservative-free form. He also said that it keeps in the refridgerator just like the enbrel. Perhaps that is a solution rather than having to go without. I tried that and wouldn't want to try it again. Now in PT for plantar fasciatis because of it. When I was young they couldn't catch me to give me shots. It took at least two people to do it. Also, I used to faint when I had to have blood drawn and now (after 6 months) would rather give myself my shots each week than have others do it for me. I don't even feel the mtx, though I do the enbrel. The 50 mg stings (not the needle, the solution) but if I go really slowly, stopping when the stinging starts, it's okay. Fran, so sorry to hear about your hip. I hope your scan has the answer and that you are up and about soon. Jerre
