Guest guest
Hello all. Just my two cents... I have been on Atkins since January 2003. Started at 230lbs and currently at 185lbs. Was on 22.5mg MTX/25mg Vioxx until Enbrel was added 5 weeks ago. The diet did not help my P or PA at all. Enbrel has cleared my P and improved my PA by 75%. I feel like I did 3 years ago at age 25 (lowered my MTX to 10mg and will continue to decrease weekly until 0mg))! Still aches and some stiff joints, but I thank God everyday for Enbrel. OK - more on carbs - some people have a lot of difficulties on this diet. The first 2 or 3 weeks are terrible. It took me a while to get used to it and finding things to eat, but it is part of my life now and I feel pretty good. I am the weight I was in college again and that feels great. My advice is to try it and stick with it very strictly for 1 month. You will see reseults by then... if you don't go try Weight Watchers! God bless and thanks for all the useful info. Guest guest
I've been on the diet now for about 3-4 weeks... have lost 14 lbs and 5 inches!!!! I am happy. I don't find it difficult to find things to eat anymore.. I guess I look at it as a life change and not a diet. Now if I would only add excercise =)) -- [ ] Enbrel, Low Carb Diet - update > > Hello all. Just my two cents... I have been on Atkins since January 2003. Started at 230lbs and currently at 185lbs.
