Guest guest
--- Hi Fran, I hate to be a bearer of bad news but I went a year with this pain before my right hip finally broke. I went to my GP because it got so bad I could barely walk and get out of chair and he sent me to PT-I think it made it worse and cause it to break. I can remember the PT person sitting on my hip and pulling because they thought it was my quad muscle-thinking of the now gives me the shivers. I had to walk with crutches and was in so much pain even with pain medication. That was in the Fall of 2001-Feb. 2002 my hip broke-it snapped before I hit the floor!! I am now having the same pain in my left hip-so I know that pain. I hope this isn't your problem. They couldn't find any problems on x-rays, MRI, bone scan, etc. I was angry when I finally broke-all my GP could say that it was an injury!! Duh!! Sorry, God Bless, Sue in Michigan.
