Suzie, thanks for, um, er, keeping us abreast of the situation.

Hope all turns out well! Kathy F.

Hi Everyone (and Fran in particular),

Had my first MRI today.

Thought I'd let you all know that I fitted into the 'tunnel' - just.

I seem to have the same side effects to some of the medications as

Fran. (Stop laughing )

Dear Suzie, thanks again for bring up that " wonderful " experience! LOL. I

had almost put it out of my mind, but noooo you had to remind me of it all

over again...I'm just kidding. It is very frustrating to say the least to

think you can't fit into a damn machine, but luckily they aren't all built

the same...neither are we...lol. You are right about laughing at

ourselves. Unfortunately, I have plenty to laugh about these days...lol.

Anyway, I'm glad you " fit " and I hope you get some answers from your test.

Back pain is really miserable, but then almost everything is about this

lovely disease. Thanks for making me laugh this morning Suzie. Take care

and let me know how the results turn out. Love, Fran

I've been having a lot of trouble with my back and the rheumy is

checking to see if there is any permanent damage so I've had an MRI

on my lower spine.

Will have to wait until I see see him on the 1st of December for the

results.

If there is any signs of damage I'm going to ask if I can try one of

the biologics.

Just thought you'd all like to know that -

1. either the MRI machines in Australia are larger than the ones in

America.

or 2. my 'effects' aren't guite as large as Fran's yet.

If you don't laugh at yourself you might as well give up - I prefer

to laugh!

love

Suzie

P.S. For any of you don't know what I'm talking about -refer to the

achives from Fran about a fortnight ago.

Hi Suzie,

I went for an MRI on my neck some months ago but my HEAD wouldn't fit in.

lol

Seriously though, I think if you were a bit claustrophobic its not something

you would enjoy.

Going on to biologics would be a good idea if you can do it. It looks like I

could be going on to Enbrel at last. (I think I have said this before). My

Derm told me that my Rheumy is going to visit me in hospital. (I am being sent

to a different Hospital from the one my Derm and Rheumy work in. Strange eh?)

to prepare me to start Enbrel. Its been a long time coming.

Take care,
