Guest guest
Dear Zoella and Cheri, I haven't written you, but I have hot burning feet, hands and face as well. I'm sending you a website that talks about burning feet and it is an actual syndrome called Erythromelalgia. Most people have it in their feet and it can be caused by RA or other types of arthritis. Since you talk about burning, that seems to be the thing that sets us apart from just regular pain and aching. My feet, face and hands actually turn bright red and some people you can see from the website have it to the point they are totally disabled. I'm pretty lucky that ice packs or gel packs keep me from losing my mind, but other people find certain medications help them. Anyway, check out the TEA, The Erythromelalgia Association at, www.erythromelalgia.org <http://www.erythromelalgia.org/> I hope it helps you at least figure out if you have this or not. Sincerely, Fran in Florida

Guest guest
Thanks so much Fran, for shedding some light on this most unusual problem. I haven't been answering your posts either because they are always so informative that I feel enough has been said, but I should have let you know that. For years my face has turned bright red and people always make such a big deal about how I blush but it is uncomfortable and embarassing because I know it is not blush but a physical reaction to the least little stress. My hands have not been a problem but are rarely cold. I will look at the site you passed along with great interest. Thanks again, Cheri
Guest guest
I am not on predisone but for some reason my face and the palms of my hands turn bright red. don't understand why. Jim worries about me because he thinks I am sick or sugar is up , or even much worse I AM MAD AT HIM. I just don't know why this happens and my face or hands are not hot or burning. What is going on?
