Hi all. I must admit, I feel guilty. I haven't posted in months. I

joined this group several months back right after I had first been

diagnosed with PA. I had had it for 7 years prior, with the onset

after the birth of my first child. I was frightened, releaved, and

in a lot of pain. I found a rhumy that started treatment with me,

but he turned out to be a real creep. He had a horrible bedside

manor, and would only give me the most conservative of treatments. I

dumped him. I since have been approved for FMLA at my job for my PA,

and found out I am pregnant. I was totally freaked at first, not

knowing how I could carry a baby when I could hardly carry myself.

The good thing is, I was so fed up with my doc that that I had

stopped all meds about 6 months prior, feeling that nothing at all

would be better than the crud he was giving me. I am very early, and

so far, only one bad flare in my feet since the discovery. I am

worried though. Is there anyone out there that is in my position or

has been? I am unable to treat the PA per the doc while pregnant. I

have been on self inflicted fast from meds already, and now I face 9

more months at least. What made me post again was another post I

read about inverse? Psoriasis. (I could be spelling wrong) Anyway,

she mentioned having it under each breast, and being diagnosed as a

yeast infection. That same thing happened to me, I have it very

badly under both breasts, and my bad rhumy said it was yeast

infection, and gave me 3 rounds of meds for it. I told him it was P

before I left, and that he needed to go back to school. The only

time it goes away is with P treatment.

Wow, that was wordy! Sorry!

Take care all of you warriors,

Tamara
