A Question About Climate and PA

I was wondering if anyone on the list has moved in search of the " perfect "

climate for living with PA? We recently relocated to the mountains of

Southern New Mexico (temperate 10 mos. of the year) from South Dakota

(Temperate 2 mos. of the year). The extreme cold in winter and the heat and

humidity of the summers made living in SD very difficult. We tried to find

an area where the weather was not too hot or too cold and Southern New

Mexico seemed perfect.

Unfortunately, I have found that when a storm blows through the mountain top

the sudden changes cause me a great deal of pain. They usually blow through

quickly, so that is good. However, they happen often. I am beginning to

wonder if going down the mountain to the desert would be a better idea.

I am wondering if anyone has found one type of climate more beneficial than

another? (I know, I know... weird question! I am full of them!!!)
