Guest guest
, I use the insulin syringes because the Enbrel ones sometimes dull (from piercing the rubber on the vial). The insulin syringes are also smaller. The ones I get have the luer-lock (or removable) needle. I think they are 3cc (you use 1ml of Enbrel but it's better to get a larger syringe to make sure you draw up all the medication), the gauge (diameter) is 25 or 27, and the length of the needle is 5/8 " . Just use the Enbrel syringe as directed to mix the solution and draw the solution into the Enbrel syringe. Take the luer-lock needle off the insulin syringe and inject the medication into the insulin syringe. Replace the needle and you can inject. I find this method causes less discomfort. It's a little bit more work but for me it's worth it. I was having problems getting the Enbrel syringe to go in my skin sometimes (which can be painful). I also get less bruising with this method and I have never had an injection site reaction. Good luck! take care, Message: 21 Date: Wed, 22 Jan 2003 19:52:42 EST From: CND110370@...
