Guest guest
Thanks, Caroline........ I thought it kind of sounded familiar and now knowing it's Remicade, I can add my two cents to Steve's inquiry. Steve.......I did not do well on Remicade at all. Took one infusion and ended up in E.R. and in the hospital for a few days. But......that's just one person out of how many????? I do well on Enbrel and MTX. It took me a while to find that combination. Are you thinking of trying Remicade? Ca. Carmen
Guest guest
Steve I had about 20 infusions of infliximab or Remicade and it worked pretty well. I did suffer with quite a few infections and then I had a bad infusion reaction and had to stop it all together and change to Kineret daily injections. I have done much better with this drug than either Enbrel or Remicade (both combined with Mtx and steroids). Remicade was also the most expensive drug so far. Hope this helps.
